Sunday 2:00 pm. First time out in awhile decided on Pollo Loco. Spent just over $100.00. Chicken in salads were so old and dry like rocks. Then the salad was non-existent. The manager told me they were working on a catering order guess I should have walked out then. Manager did give me a free coke but didn’t put my churros in my order or receipt in my order to go. Geez, the time to check everything or cot to go back is a waste. It saddens me that with the hiked up prices and discourages me to go out for food because of quality or minimal value for what you pay. The location was one we really liked. Wish I had receipt but maybe my bank can help me out.

Ordered the three-piece white meat meal. What I got was a chicken breast and… half of another? Not exactly what I paid for. I went up to the counter to get it corrected. The staff member passed the message along to the guy at the grill, who hit me with a look like I just ruined his day, then turned back around like it wasn’t his problem.

Thankfully, the manager stepped in and made him fix it, though judging by the attitude, you’d think I asked him to hand over a winning lottery ticket. Meanwhile, the employee who took my order came out to the dining area, plopped down, and started watching videos on her phone at full volume like the dining room was her personal living room.

Not exactly the kind of experience that makes me want to rush back. Do better, El Pollo Loco.

Got a chicken tostada.. it tasted okay.. there was something off but I couldn't tell what it was. Food is pretty dang good. A bit expensive but totally worth it as it's very fresh and the tostada shell is so deliciously crunchy and perfect. Excellent service. Manager at this location was very nice and let me bring in my scooter. 5 stars well deserved. AND this location also smelled good compared to other locations (like the one on Bell rd.) That smells like sewage.

Dry chicken, over fried tostada shell, and stale chips. Waste of money. Go to the 59th and Bell location peeps.

I bought a chicken burrito, first they gave me a burrito with rice and beans, but without everything, I asked to replace the burrito and after that no one apologized to me. I was given a new burrito, but chicken pieces were very rare, and the chicken was dry and old. Chicken burrito for $ 11 and almost no chicken, you draw your own conclusions.
