My visit to this café was deeply disappointing and, frankly, uncomfortable. The service was noticeably inconsistent, which significantly impacted our experience. Upon entering, we were not greeted warmly, despite the café being relatively empty. However, subsequent customers who arrived after us were immediately offered chips and salsa. When we asked if we could also have some, the owner/server responded with a distinct attitude, immediately stating that only the first order was complimentary and future orders would be charged—a detail that felt unnecessarily hostile, especially since it was the first interaction after seeing others easily served. The main dish, the burrito, was equally disappointing. It was very plain and lacked any substantial flavor or seasoning. We were not offered any hot sauce or condiments, and given the previous interaction, we did not feel comfortable asking. It is disheartening when a business, particularly one owned by a fellow Latina, exhibits such unwelcoming and inconsistent behavior towards its patrons. A basic level of flavor and courtesy is expected, and neither was present during our visit. Based on this negative experience with both the service and the food quality, we will not be returning.

This place has great atmosphere very laid back. The food was great had a green chile chimi 10/10 my gf had a special order and they did not think twice on accomaditing her she had the machaca and eggs also a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone. Food was great portions as well.

If you're looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant with a family atmosphere this is it. Located in a Downtown Glendale neighborhood Fajardo's is a great mom and pop shop that has phenomenal food (Egg Special and Hash Plate is great for breakfast!) We're looking forward to going back and trying more! Have been looking for a gem like this for awhile, so glad we found it!

For a restaurant being in a house, it was pretty amazing. The service was amazing and they were very quick in getting our order and food delivered. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
