I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The burrito I ordered was absolutely terrible. The meat was almost impossible to chew-either it was old or they're not using proper carne asada meat. Honestly, it made me question if it was even beef at all; it was so bad, I started to wonder if it was horse meat. It made me feel really sick. On top of that, the service was awful. The lady who took my order was rude and completely lacked any customer service skills. She was dry and unwelcoming, which made the whole experience worse. Overall, this was the worst burrito l've ever had, and I definitely won't be coming back.

Federico's is a great place to eat; however, it also will cost more than you might expect. Having dined here for years, it becomes hard to discern between spending ~$50 for three meals here or at other establishments. But it all seems justifiable considering the portions and quality. I prefer this restaurant versus the nearby competition.

For reference it’s Friday night 802pm, I just left the drive thru here. On top of the attitude from girl taking orders, I asked her is there a fee for using the card? And she said yes. I said okay tell me the total in cash. She gave me the total. I paid cash and then checked my receipt. I got charged 1.58 for an “ADMIN FEE” separate from tax. I asked her what that was and she said it’s because I paid card ??♀️ I told her I just gave you cash…. She said no you didn’t ??♀️ Then I told her to ask what that was. She left and came back- they didn’t really tell me what it was. I don’t know. That was her answer. On top of ripping people off, no customer service skills

Food is always good and the staff are always pleasant to me when I come in all the way up to when I leave. I appreciate the efficiency and cleanliness all around it's lovely.
My food was on par, but when my husband who asked for no guacamole and only Pico de Gallo, 3 times, to make sure they understood. When we got home and found out that there was no Pico de Gallo and only guacamole ....very disappointed. To see the receipt..say no guacamole.. my husband is allergic to avocados.. so we always make sure they know no guacamole.. so sad this went through the management.

I go to Federico's 67th/Peoria on Tuesday to enjoy the hardshell tacos. They are discounted on Tuesday but are worth buying any day. The shredded beef is my go to. Today, I tried tacos birria they are new on the menu. Absolutely yummy! This is a small family owned business with fair prices for plenty of food.

I've come to the drive thru two times The first time I waited about 10 minutes before getting frustrated and pulling away The second time, some young girl got on and made me wait even longer (there was only one car ahead of me and 3 enploy were standing outside chatting) I pulled out, but noticed someone pull up so I followed them in and surprise, suddenly they had time to take my order.
