I had a very disappointing experience at Black Bear Diner. We came in as a party of five, and the staff seemed completely unable to accommodate us. It felt chaotic from the moment we walked in. There was no clear organization, and no real effort to find or arrange seating for a slightly larger group. It honestly seemed like they are only prepared to serve parties of one or two. Anything beyond that appeared to overwhelm the staff. Instead of working to find a solution, we were left standing and waiting without proper communication. If you’re planning to come with a family or a group of four or more, I would strongly recommend choosing another place. This location does not seem equipped to handle larger parties efficiently.

Food was terrible. The pancakes came out with one over cooked and one undercooked. The eggs were cooked very hard and dry. It took over 20 minutes for the waitress who was also the supervisor to even come check on us and my pancakes never came out. I wish I got a picture but I was in a rush to leave and get some real food. I left hungry.

Tonight we dropped in Black Bear at the end of the night for some breakfast for dinner. The service was awesome Haley greeted us with her great personality she treated all the customers with a friendly & helpful aduttude! We had a great meal prepared by Joe. He came out to check on us he was also friendly. I highly recommend you drop by and enjoy a great meal and great service.

Nice comfort food restaurant. Most of our visits go very well. I usually only bring up complaints if the situation is not under ones control. Example if the plate of food drops, or the over crowding from unexpected customers all coming in at the same time. All forgiven. Maybe it's me, maybe my standards are too high. Maybe my perception of customer service is too high. Well We had a nice breakfast. We wanted to leave and needed two take out plates and a check. Took 10 minutes while are waiter started to chat and take the orders of people just seated, they just sat down. Not happy and feel so disrespected. The station where the to go containers was literally 10 feet away. He could have got the plates than take customers order. They the restaurant was moderately busy and properly staffed. Those people could wait a minute while our waiter finished with us. 20 minutes altogether when we could leave way sooner.
