We have gone here a number of times and consider it to be a regular hangout. They have a variety of German and American foods in a rich and unusual menu, and their beers are top notch. The atmosphere is airy and modern, and is very comfortable. The service is good and the prices are competitive for this type of a place.
Food was fantastic (the Blue Crab and artichoke dip...OMG!). My husband and I both enjoyed our meals, but I think he was a little jealous of my Smoked Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. Overall a great experience, but our table was still a little dirty after they wiped it off before we sat down.
We arrived at 4:55 pm on a Wednesday afternoon for happy hour and dinner before a show. Waitress was great and the food was great but the bartender was very slow. We got our 4 beers at 5:35 and our food a 5:40. There were only a handful of dinner customers and maybe 5 at the bar. Like I said the food and beer are very good and I would come back for that, but to wait a half hour for a beer at a brewery and tie with the food arrival turned my friends off. Really, it's a brewery?!
