Great Steak

Walking into arrowhead mall ready to eat pandaslop.... I walked by Great steak and saw a man stabbing a beautiful bunn with meat and vibrant vegetables. I knew it was time to try something new. I ordered the premium sandwich based on the picture on the menu. I was not disappointed. The chef made my sandwich immediately fresh as oxygen from a a tree. I rushed home to devour this delicacy. So salty... creamy. Crisp vegetables. Savory tender meat..... why the heck would anyone want orange chicken from pandaslop? 10/10 will eat again.

I hope this reaches every level of management and the health department, honestly. First off, the amount of time it took from ordering to food in had was appalling. I ordered at 1:45pm and didn’t receive my order until 2:17pm. If you aren’t quick on the math, that’s 32 minutes. Oh, and by the way, it was incorrect. While waiting there at the pick up spot, I noticed a few things. Employees just joking around, not even cooking. This was visible in front of at least 7 people, including me, and highly unprofessional. Ignoring the employees behavior, I simply looked up above the grill and noticed the somewhat steady drip of grease raining down from the vent hood. I am not a health inspector but have worked in the food industry in my younger age. Grease equals both lack of cleaning and potential for fire. I also noticed there was not display of their last AZ health department inspection rating. I guess that makes sense. Moving on to my incorrect order, the chicken was terribly dry on both a standard chicken Philly and a chicken teriyaki sandwich. How did you make such dry chicken when you cook it in sauce? The only decent part of the entire meal, which was basically two combos, including fries and drinks, costing about $35, was the soda. That’s depressing. This location was closed for many months for whatever reason, and had an absolutely terrible comeback. This is the only remaining Great Steak in AZ, and honestly, should shutter its doors. You’re destroying the brand that many have come to love.

Ordered delivery. Not only did the delivery driver have to wait a solid 30 minutes AFTER arriving to get the food, but they substituted an item without asking us for an item we would not eat and ignored the instructions on the other meal item. This was the worst meal we've had in a very long time.

Ordered cheese fries took 20 mins after 10 mins I ask for my money back they said 2 more minutes. Most bizarre interaction.

Order black tea unsweetened- since when does tea have a sour taste??? Asked for replacement lemonade- odd flavor diffently not lemonade.
Frys had too much cheese. Overall waste of money.
Arrowhead Mall you need to bring in great tasti

I ordered a beef sandwich from Great Steak at Arrowhead Mall and was very disappointed. The beef did not taste fresh and had a terrible flavor. For the price, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return or recommend this location.👎👎👎👎👎👎
