Had a long morning of a math exam and was looking for a breakfast place that was closer to the Glendale Community College. Found Hot Spot 51 was closer and I was in a different mood than going to IHOP or Denny's.The server was a helpful & thoughtful guy. Asks you the right questions and is quite attentive. 5 Stars, no less. The food was a mix of great and meh. I ordered the Super Omelette with no salsa or cheese and no batter in the eggs. Definitely reminded me of the Colorado omelette from IHOP. I ordered that with a side of hash browns and fruit.Needless to say the omelette itself was superb. Only thing I didn't like about it was that the pieces of ham cooked into the omelette had a rather sweet taste to it and I absolutely hate candied/sweetened ham for both taste and dietary restrictive reasons. Had I known, I would've asked for no ham pieces in it. Besides the ham pieces, the eggs, mushrooms, sausage pieces, onions, and green pepper were outstanding. The hash brown side with it was pretty decent as well. Hot Spot definitely gives you a larger portion of hash browns than what IHOP gives. The fruit side were slices of peaches. This was a bit more okish as the peaches seemed to have been from a can of sliced peaches that were marinated in a kind of sugar, glucose syrup, or fruit juice. I'm definitely hoping it was the latter as the "syrup" of it didn't seem very viscous which does seem to indicate to me that it was marinated in fruit juice but that's just working on a hunch. If it is the case where the peaches were more marinated in fruit juice, I'd definitely say good on the owners of Hot Spot on using fresher, more healthier and quality ingredients than cheap glucose syrup garbage. So just to be clear here, my gripe is with the ambiguous quality of the fruit option. At the end however, I was satisfied and the bill came out to around ~$16, I rounded it up to $20 as I didn't have cash on me to give the server an honest-to-God-deserved tip.So overall, I say if you made it to the end of this review, definitely do give this place a shot.

Food was amazing! Server was down to earth and on top of things too. Not a high class place but good vibe and tasteful music made it worth it. Prices were better than some of their competitors.

Ordered through door dash the food was freezer fresh was cooked in oil. Not a meal that I was happy I ate I was hungry but regretted eating calories that weren't worth it and felt gross after. I ordered the French dip and My co worker ordered the triple decker chicken club sandwich it was missing the lettuce and tomatoes and only had the top and bottom bread like a basic sandwich not like a club as the picture advertised. The worst part is she ended up with food poisoning and had to take the next day off from work. The guy I talked to on the phone was nice though

Ordered the steak breakfast and the steak is rotten. First bite was rancid. Everything else was ok.

Facility clean and large with many tables and chairs.  Is an old Pizza Hut building.  Breakfast served anytime, closes at 2:pm. Very friendly staff.  Coffee is $3.29.  Not counting biscuits and gravy - saw only 4 entrees under $10.⁰⁰.   Bathrooms large and HC accessible - not the greatest but okay. Menu photos as of February 2024.

We had a piece of plastic in my wife’s scramble, had to ask for silverware and a straw, after our 30 minute food prep time only to have hash browns that were slimy and undercooked. The one very Rude, slow and inattentive very effeminate host/server thought he deserved a cash tip upfront at check out after all of that. Oh, and they charge 4% “processing fee” if you aren’t paying cash.

Stopped in for breakfast. Food took a really long time and came out half cooked. There was a piece of plastic in my food. It was very busy and they seemed very understaffed.

This is a nondescript, humble restaurant. I ordered to-go and got myself a triple decker sandwich with hash browns and seasoned fries. This cost me $16.44. The sandwich was just absolutely delicious. And the hash brown was nice and crispy (it's the string type of hash brown). The seasoned fries were above average. Overall, a fantastically crafted meal.
