Hour are wrong. I wanted to check this place out since I live in the area and I love sushi. I was there at 11am and doors were locked. I waited 10 mins and nothing so I drove to yen instead. They were actually open as already had customers. Suck a shame...

The person who took my order and gave it to me in store was so friendly and kind. I got the cucumber salad and the golden California roll and both were so good I have zero complaints. Amazing quality of food, amazing prices and amazing customer service. This is definitely my new go to spot!

Fresh & fast! Delicious sushi, sake, & beer. We will for sure be back again. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. The music and staff were all so nice

Very clean, open space. Not very busy when we visited at 8pm on a Friday, blessing in disguise for social distancing. Staff was not wearing masks and there was a screaming child in back room of restaurant, not to be insensitive but needless to say a bit distracting. Food was ok, many other choices for really great sushi in North Phoenix, will skip this one for now.

My girls really like the miso soup, mixed tempura and kids noodles. Rolls were excellent and look forward to coming back!!

Trying out the new place. I didnt have sea any food today. Miso soup was great. Cucumber salad and chicken Karaage (main reason I came here) were really good. Super friendly and clean. You might recognize the owner from a Pho place down the street!

If you live in N. Phoenix/Glendale come and give this wonderful new place an opportunity to slap your tastebuds into Tokyo!!! It's clean, not too dark and gloomy like most sushi places, it is very versatile if you want romantic there's a few places to choose to sit, if your looking for a dinner with friends there is more than enough space to gather with great lighting. The owner is a very nice and smiley guy, John our waiter was helpful and just delightful. We ordered Tako, edamame, ramen and lots of Soju and an Izakaya roll, all very delicious. Great service, nice decor, decent prices. So excited for this new establishment, it's going to do very well!

We decided to try out Coma as we had seen it a few times driving by and we were ultimately very happy. The food was really good, was nice to try a sushi place that had a few items we don't usually see. The staff were very polite and asked multiple times if there was anything they could do for us. The music was also really pleasant and overall was open, clean and comfortable!

we stopped in Coma Sushi for a birthday dinner.....WOW! What a surprise! They recently just reopened...they came back from a difficult time. We are VERY PICKY with our sushi and I have to tell you - YA'll need to come here! This place needs to stay open- We met the owner Tom and he was great! The young lady who took care of was JUST THE BEST! Alawni was a very very good server and knowledgeable on the items on the menu and made the night pleasant and fun! Sometimes when you stop at a place you think there's no body in there (WHY)? But then 2 hours later when you walk out - you're saying- WE WILL BE BACK! Because you find out he reason is that people don't know they are there and open....I see this place being packed soon and hard to get into....so I am glad we met the Owner and got to know him a little, and Alawni took care of us- So when they are packed and I can say remember when? Oh yes thank you we have your table reserved for you. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE TIME and stop by- tell them B&B sent you!

I think this place is fairly new. My fiancé and I love trying new sushi places, so we thought to give this place a try. The Happy Hour prices were cheap and rolls we tried were delicious! We always start with gyoza and this place does a bomb job at making them! We also tried the Spicy Tuna Roll, Golden California Roll (I think), and the Vegas Roll. All very good! Other places do thick slices that are hard to eat in one bite, but Coma does thin slices that are very easy to eat, which I really liked! We went on a Saturday early evening with Cameron as our server. He was polite and left us a cute little thank you note with our bill, which we took home. Definitely give this place a try!

New sushi place and figured we'd give it a shot. Expectations weren't too high since new places usually are getting kinks worked out. Server was attentive and provided free edamame because the one chef on a Friday night was a bit behind. There weren't a lot of guests so I'm not sure why the delay in getting food.?For me, when determining really good sushi places is the variety of rolls they offer. There were a large number of rolls that have mango which I immediately passed on. In addition most of the rolls had tempura or baked items (scallops or salmon,etc.). Besides nigiri, I believe there were only two fresh rolls, one was a typical rainbow roll (yawn). I would have liked to see a few more fresh fish rolls. The green tea I believe was Lipton sweet green tea...not what I would expect at a sushi place. Hmm?My wife and daughter enjoyed the GoldenEye and Vegas Roll. Overall, not bad. I'm torn because I want to like it but I'm a bit jaded because I picked two baked salmon rolls by accident. Will I go back? Maybe, but I have my favorite spot about a mile away. If I do go back, I hope they'll add more fresh rolls to the menu and maybe get so

Coma Sushi & Izakaya is located in strip mall in Glendale off of Bell Road behind Doglicious Hot Dogs. They offer an amazing happy hour menu filled with lots of goodies. On the regular menu are the usual fair and lots of rolls and some very nice sounding dinners. We came early and took advantage of the happy hour and ordered many things. My favorite thing I tried was the Salmon New Style Salad with Yuzu Dressing. It was creative and different. It also was light and refreshing. The salmon in the salad was fresh and clean tasting. We also tried the gyoza that seemed house made? The tuna roll was fresh and spicy like it should be. We also tried some basic nigiri sushi. I liked that they season under the fish.Everybody there seemed nice and welcoming. The hours are different. On the weekend I noticed that they don't open till 2.
