I may have never been to Italy, but I've had a lot of pizza in my life from several renowned restaurants. This is undoubtedly the best pizza I've had thus far and for $14-17 per at that! (Sorry Ambrogio15 in San Diego, your $30 pizzas are still sitting pretty at second place). The pizzas are sold as personals, meaning one 12" per hungry person, which only really amplifies the love and flavor this place packs into each one. These little guys are blasted at 900°F for a very short time (90 seconds if I recall correctly). This leads to a beautifully bubbly and thin crust that is crispy and lightly charred on the outside, and delightfully chewy on the inside while still holding firm against their lovely toppings. I live on the other side of the country but this place will undoubtedly see me again as soon as possible. I hope that when this location winds up with a line around the block, they don't let the quality stretch too thin and cave under the higher demand (Looking at you, Grimaldi's). People can wait, especially for this stuff.

100% authentic Italian place. Best pizza in the West Valley, good wine selection. Nothing fancy but it's about the quality of food.

Used to be really good, kinda lost it's way with service & burned pizzas the new norm...resting on laurels me thinks.

Would give zero, but can't. The waitress was incredibly rude and the pizza was not at all what I anticipated based on reviews. Won't be back

Went to work in the dark this morning and walked out to a full moon. That means full pie to me. Last night in Glendale, AZ and I needed a bite so called in a pick up order. Ordered the Italian Stallion and it didn't disappoint. Might else well be watching the Rocky movie while eating this, it hit the spot. Thin crust firewood pizza had great taste! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the crust was slightly burned. Or as my wife would call it "toasty." Can't wait to try another pizza the next time I'm in town.

Have been here a handful of times, and pizza is absolutely delicious ? atmosphere is great and they have a super cute setup for pictures. If you like pizza, you must try. They also have different pastas that are also delicious. Let me know if you try!

Good pizza with terrible service. We were informed 35 minute wait and it was an hour. This restaurant has roughly 16 tables, with 5 serving staff members serving customers on the floor. I watched a big top seated after my 2 top. They had bottles of wine opened and poured table side long before I received my beverage. I asked 3 separate times over a total of 20 minutes for my glass of wine. As a seasoned server, this is the 1st time in my life that we left a restaurant without tipping.

I enjoyed my pizza , but I didn't love it. I got the Funghi and the mushrooms were baked to the point of drying out, which doesn't lead to the best flavor. The server appeared to be the only front of house staff at the time , but kept up on water and never left our table waiting too long. Restaurant was also really hot in the back . I will be returning in the future to try again

I would say that this was a ummmm strange experience. We were doing some shopping and just checking out the downtown scene. We got hungry and looked up some reviews for restaurants in the area and this one seemed promisingIt was around 12:30 so there were not a lot of people inside. Out of all the tables to seat us at she sat us as the only dirty table in the establishment.OddWe ordered the Ravioli which appeared to annoy her as that was the only thing we were ordering.I don’t know about you but when it’s my first time at a place I like to try a dish and if I like it I order more. There must have been some of their usuals there and honestly those were the only people she spoke to.There was another gentleman there and she didn’t really check on him either. We felt rushed and when she brought the check said we could pay at the front. We waited for her at the front for 10 minutesI’m giving this place 3 stars because the food was yummyService needs work

The meatballs were amazing. I haven't had something like that in YEARS and I haven't been able to find anything come close to them here in AZ. The pizza was just as amazing. The sauce, cheese, and the all-star crust is one of the best I've ever had. Simple Machine Brewery pairs well with it as well.

When we went to Italy, we were shocked to realize that their pizza tasted JUST like La Piazza. They are the real deal in terms of authenticity. All the servers are kind and helpful and we love the ambience the place provides.

I have eaten at La Piazza's Glendale and, prior to it's closing, the downtown Phoenix location numerous times and have enjoyed eating dozens of their pizzas. No doubt, they were near the best wood fired Neopolitan pizza in the valley! I am sad to say, that is no longer the case. Last night's visit resulted in being served a mediocre, at best, pizza! Gone was the light and fluffy crust, the melted mozzarella cheese and a tender crust, replaced by an overcooked pizza without the signature airy fluffy crust. The here-to-for melt in your mouth mozzarella seemed to replaced by some sort of mixed shredded cheese. Upon leaving, I spoke with the server/cashier, relating how after my many visits, that tonight`s pizza was not up to the standards their normal standards and that if this were my first visit, I would not be returning. She then apologized and told me that Justin was no longer the owner! and that the staff was new! Unfortunately, with the departure of Justin, this may have become the new standard for La Piazza. I do not foresee myself returning to this once outstanding restaurant and caution that any prior reviews do not apply now that Justin is no longer part of La Piazza.
