I stop by this bakery a lot and it is usually packed with long lines no matter the time of day. Somehow I walked in at the perfect moment and barely waited which never happens there. Loved everything that I tried so far!

Bought some pan dulce here finally after hearing so much good things about this place and was so disappointed it doesnβt taste like authentic Mexican pan.. I usually go to my local panaderia on dunlap and 12st and it is so delicious and have also been to multiple other and have never tasted anything as bad as this not to mention itβs on the pricey side
Love this place. Best pan dulce and flour tortillas in the area.

I picked up an order for a group visiting our office. They were from out of town. I had raved about purisima and how good the bread was from there. Conchitas bread tasted like it was stored by garlic. I called Purisima right away to inform them of the taste, most the cochitas tasted bad, others were eaten but not enjoyed due to taste. Purisima rep. asked to bring back as much of the bread as possible. I didn't know she wanted uneaten pieces too. Took back what was left. Bought two dozen pieces. Instead of replacing the 15 pieces of conchitas with the bad taste, they only exchanged 8 pieces of uneaten bread. Had to drive a long distance, and pay again to replace for extra bread... Felt this was unfair, when I called was informed they would replace all of it. Had I known, I wouldn't have wasted my time to drive the distance again. Purisima is expensive, I don't have a problem paying, I didn't mind the drive because normally it so good. Found it a bit sad they didn't replace the full batch purchased. I even had to pay for two bags they used for new order, and they kept big box I purchased earlier to return bread. SMH, Not cool. Spent $50 plus dollars on 24 pieces of garlic tasting bread.

The tamales sold during the holiday season son muy deliciosa! The masa was perfect, the green, red and the sweet raisin tamales tasted just like my Grandma Arellano made them!
