Mariscos y Sushi El Dorado Sin 3

We took a friend for her birthday. The food was okay, nothing special and overpriced. We had to reach out to the waitress each time we needed her, although she was friendly when she did come around. Also, our plates were basically left on the table all night. I pushed them to the edge of the table to get them out of our way and in hopes they would be picked up. The banda was good but very loud and plays if you pay which makes the music variety played very boring and the music played between the banda is also very questionable. Makes for a very boring atmosphere. Also, drinks are a hit and miss. The mango shots were good. The paloma was horrible, I did not drink. This place was just not for me, I would not go back.

Food was very good and our server Nicol was outstanding. My only complaint and it’s a big one is the music is so loud you can’t hear the person sitting next to you. The band manager or drum player tried to swindle our table to pay them $200 for playing songs they kept pushing our friend to request. They never explained that each song is $40. The band was talented yes but to try steal money from your patrons at a restaurant that you were hired to play in is crazy.

I’m still upset about this. I didn’t even step foot in the restaurantI was just standing out front waiting for my Uber after grabbing a few things from the liquor store next door. That’s it. Just standing there.

Then the security guard starts walking up to me like I’m a problem. “You good?” “Is your ride coming?” “You good?” Over and over. Like I wasn’t clear the first time when I said, “Yes, my ride is coming shortly.” But he kept pressing like he didn’t believe me. Like I was lying or up to something.

It felt so aggressive and unnecessary. I wasn’t blocking anyone. I wasn’t causing trouble. I wasn’t even making eye contact with anyone. Just standing on a public sidewalk, and I got treated like I didn’t belong.

That was straight up disrespect. He didn’t approach me with kindness. He approached me like I was suspicious for just existing. It felt like profiling. Like I was being singled out for something I didn’t do.

The way he kept pushing made me feel small, embarrassed, and completely unwelcome. There was no reason for it. I’ve never felt that uncomfortable just waiting for a ride. If this is how your staff treats people outside your business, then that says a lot about what kind of place this is.

Do better. That kind of behavior is not okay.

The place is beautiful, the service was okay but the plate I order which was a creamy fish, fill with shrimp with rice and beans and a salad. The fish in the bottom was overcooked which it was hard to chew, but the other sides were good.

Food and Restaurant are awesome. The waitress we had was inattentive. They had live music and delish steaks and sushi.

The service was half and half please let me explain my wide ordered a culichi Roll had no flavor initially we were surprised how fast the sushi roll came out but we figured it out we eat sushi all the time at different locations you can name it we have been there the sushi roll that was delivered was supposed to be a empanizado which means it's deep fried and should come to you hot that was not the case it was cold and thats not even the worst part sushi has 2 ends we discovered that our roll had a 3rd end (the culito) in the center meaning it was probably eaten off of and the rest was completed from another plate secondly when we mentioned the roll was cold the only offered to warm it up I can only imagine good establishments would just replace it no questions asked i ordered a shrimp alfredo which i get it's not the house special so I waited about 30 minutes for my food. Call my wife sat there with her cold sushi roll. Ultimately, we ended up sharing my pasta. I'm not saying that this place, it's all bad. The beer was cold. The environment was great. I remember when this place opened. Service was great food was immaculate. Obviously, as establishments create better reputations and get busier, I see some places lose quality. Like I said, if you wanna listen to music and drink cold beer, this is the place the food has gone downhill in conclusion when I got my bill, I did not want to pay for the sushi roll but my waiter just argue with me. I'm not going to argue over $20, but nowadays food is very expensive. Especially eating out restaurants should be more. Then capable to satisfy the customer's needs. Not just think about stuffing a few dollars in their pocket. I never really complain. Ed, I come from an upbringing that you get what's on your plate and that you eat it no. Questions asked no complaining, I know a lot of people can Relate, where I'm coming from?

I stopped by here with some friends and the staff seemed to really ‘enjoy’ (😡) my “JALISCO” t-shirt. Plot twist: I’m from Michoacán jajaja but nonetheless the ribeye steak I had was very tasty 👍.

Great food . Great people. The music's noise level is good. You can still have a conversation . Not like other places where the music is just too loud.

If I could leave zero stars I would but their customer service is below -100 I had two babies had to use the restroom offered to pay for a service and they still refused my service so do not recommend very rude. If you are not Hispanic they will turn you away if I could leave zero stars, I would
