Matt's Big Breakfast

I had the chick and hog and husband had the Benedict. Nothing crave worthy. Potatoes were bland and hash browns were gray. Jam preserves were meh. Not kid friendly. Not kid menu or coloring stuff. I would have gotten the same food for half the price at Denny’s.

The food was not stellar. For me, it was just OK. It could be what I ordered as they do seem to have a fairly steady business.

Disappointing coffee and breakfast. Overpriced. Pretty good service, not much ambiance, the hash browns looked and tasted like packaged frozen squares left on the grill too long.

The omelet had plenty of ingredients and was good. The hash browns were a little over cooked. The waffle cost $10.48 for one waffle with nothing on it . The restaurant felt really congested. The Food is good don't waste your money on the waffle.

Food was really bland, didn’t have a lot of flavor. Overcooked & just didn’t taste good. Had to add lots of salt and pepper and hot sauce to taste. There wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant so that should have been a sign. Not good options as far as meals go. Server kept trying to upsell us and it was kinda annoying. Probably won’t be coming back. Overpriced for the food we got. Didn’t ask for refills on drinks.

Decided to try a new place, was not impressed. Very small menu and pretty boring food. They don’t have iced coffee but will offer to pour their hot coffee over a cup of ice for you so that’s fine I guess but it didn’t taste very good. It’s also small inside and just, meh. Wouldn’t come back. Food was just okay.

My first visit to Matt's Big Breakfast was a disappointment. The omelette I ordered was subpar, with an unappealing presentation. The eggs were bland and dry, while the sausage was underseasoned and tasted raw. The onions were too large and lacked flavor. The dish was also excessively greasy. It seemed like the chef's skills were lacking. My daughter's lemonade was also unpalatable, with an unpleasant medicine taste. The only redeeming quality was the pancakes, but the options for sides were limited. Unfortunately, I experienced discomfort after consuming the meal and will not be returning. The establishment seems to cater to those who are not discerning about food quality.

Meh! Weekday at 10am. No wait, seated and greeted promptly, coffee good. The food was barely passable - too salty, but the gray hash browns pretty much ruined the whole thing. The server explained the potatoes were freshly grated, but they were already oxidized. Should have moved a bit faster in cooking them? Sorry, but there are too many much better options.

When I walked in with my dad, we were greeted by the wonderful and energetic staff. That was accompanied by the beautiful and locally oriented decor of the restaurant, you can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do. The food is incredible and fresh made, I don’t think the kitchen knows what frozen food is. I would give as many stars as I could if there was an option for more. Thank you to the staff!
