Sat at a dirty table still had another customers bill some trash and a few ketchup stains. Asked for a wipe down and the waitress gave us a look like we were trying to be pretentious. This was my first visit here as well. Attended others and ignored our table until after the waitress attended everyone else. she finally came over to take our drink order. She forgot my drink order at first.. an orange juice. Not a crazy order to remember if written down. I said forget about it the water brought out is fine thank you. Felt like we didn't get attended much until the end of the meal but by then if I consider to come back hope it's with a better waitress. Left a tip anyways but feel I shouldn't.
Food was great, but they were short staffed at the time so service was a little slow. The two servers that were there did a good job trying to keep up.

Service terrible. Food good. Not enough help apparently. Waitress barely attentive. Waitress gave us wrong bill. My eyesight poor and only saw total. Waitress did catch her mistake eventually. Paid correct bill. Probably won't return unless service improves.

I had a fantastic experience at Mimi’s Cafe! The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. A major highlight of the visit was the Dubai Muffin—it was absolutely great! The texture was spot on, and the flavors were unique and delicious. It’s definitely a must-try if you’re looking for something special. Service was attentive, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made the meal even better.

My wife and I stopped at Mimi’s Cafe in Peoria, Arizona—a location we’ve always enjoyed when we’re on this side of town. It had been years since our last visit, but we remembered it fondly for its charming French bistro atmosphere and consistently excellent food. In the past, the restaurant was always bustling, with service and meals that felt truly top-notch.
Unfortunately, our experience today was a letdown. The once inviting space now felt dingy and poorly maintained. The food, which we recall being made from scratch, had clearly shifted toward pre-packaged shortcuts: the chicken patties were frozen, and much of the meal seemed to come straight from a can. Although the waitstaff were friendly, the overall level of service didn’t match what we’d come to expect.
The real disappointment lies in the pricing—they still charge as if they were the upscale French bistro they once were, while the quality now feels closer to that of a cafeteria. It’s disheartening to see a place we loved decline so noticeably over the years. I sincerely hope that, someday, Mimi’s can restore the stellar reputation it once held.

We showed up for our 6:30 reservation at 6:20. They were way over booked. We waited till 7:10 and left, with no dinner. There were literally at least 50 people waiting in the lobby and outside, and they also had reservation. It was terrible.
These Guys are Warriors, Ninjas The Crew handled a double Booked Room Flawless! Give all a raise!!! Thank You Jim W
We enjoyed a wonderful meal and the service was great. The only complaint is the 1 hour wait past our reservation time.

Thanksgiving at Mimis was nothing like years past. They were over booked. Did not get seated for 2 hours after reservation. Service was lacking however overall not that bad of a night.
I had a 3:15 reservation and checked in with the host shortly afterwards and was asked to take a seat. I waited approximately 20 minutes then went back to the host and inquired how much longer before I would be seated. She replied 15 people ahead of you. I left and don't think I will be coming back.
What was wrong yesterday at Mimi's had nothing to do with the food or the attention of the staff. It was the fact that the restaurant had been severely overbooked, and having a confirmed reservation didn't mean very much. People were getting quite angry, and the general atmosphere of the restaurant was polluted by people glaringly angrily into the room where those of us who did manage to get seated were trying to eat. The staff was incredibly patient with hostile, verbally abusive clientele. We had excellent service, and the food was extremely good. I just wish that the overall experience had been the gracious atmosphere I am used to at Mimi's. We tipped our server Pam generously, and tried to let her know that we appreciated her.
When we arrived we were an hour out for our reservation we did not get seated until 3:30 our reservation was for 2:30 granted it was a very busy day when we finally did get seated the service and the food were excellent
The food was average, ok. We were arrived early for our reservation time, but waited an additional forty five minutes after that time.
