We drove 40 minutes specifically to eat here because their website clearly states they’re open until 9:00 PM. We arrived at 8:52 PM—eight minutes before closing—and while the door was open, we were told the kitchen was already closed and they couldn’t take our order.
There was nothing on the website or at the door indicating the kitchen closes earlier than the listed hours. We planned our whole evening around this and now we’re left hungry and stuck in an unfamiliar area.
I understand needing to clean and wrap things up, but if your website says you’re open until 9:00, customers should reasonably expect to be able to order at 8:52. Either adjust your posted hours to reflect when the kitchen actually closes, or be clear about that distinction online. Turning away customers who made the effort to come at a time you publicly said you’d be open is really disappointing.
Please update your information so other people don’t waste their time like we did.

The food was excellent. It was a family trip. There is a young lady there that works. Exceptionally, I have not seen such work effort so I am quite impressed. Her name is ale, I would recommend people to pay this place to visit and enjoy the food and the hard-working crew.

It was without the same old decor in every other Mexican restaurant which was refreshing. The server didn't understand my questions. The food was pretty good.

We’re visiting Phoenix during the holidays and decided to eat at Mixteca. I can’t believe how gross it was !! The place was totally filthy. I don’t think anything had been wiped down in years mixing that with the flies and insects just yummy. Then just wait you put a small buffet area with chips and salsa., YUCK !! I did not eat. I was with others that chose to eat , I prayed for them so they wouldn’t get sick. I did ask them about their food. They said it was eatable . Lastly, not one person smiled , not one person tried to be friendly, or even make eye contact. I have never encountered such an ugly staff…. Needless to say I won’t ever go back and hopefully they close this place down or it gets a major glow up.lol
I'd vote this place best Taco in town. I read some of the bad reviews & think half are entitled people who aren't happy anywhere... Lol All the food we've ordered has been really good. If people want cheaper food there's always taco bell. I've eaten at every Mexican place in a 20 mile radius. I'll keep eating here 👍

We ordered bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burritos , but got literally nothing but egg in the burrito , no bacon. Won't be going back to this restaurant.
