The food was good, and the bar was great. The waitresses were very friendly and nice. However, I asked for a room-temperature water bottle, and guess what? The owner said they don’t have any—seriously?

The main issue with this place is the air conditioning. We had a party there last week, and it was so hot we nearly fainted. Whether you were dancing or just sitting, it felt like a sauna. It was unbearable.

If you’re thinking of hosting a party there, consider bringing your own portable AC. I suspect some of the units were turned off. We mentioned the problem to the owners, but they didn’t seem to care. Very disappointing.

SO glad this place is here! We had my graduation dinner here and they were the best. The service was amazing, so quick and friendly, the food was incredible. A lot of times, Mediterranean food can be expensive but this place had the best quality and it was very fairly priced as well. The owner is wonderful and cares so much. So happy we went here, I couldn’t recommend it more, my whole family was so happy with it.

The food is delicious and we love the coffee. It's a must visit. I love the hummus but legit I crave the falafel. The chicken is always moist. We've been going for months, never had bad service or bad food. Try this place, it's delicious and you'll for sure be hooked.

Side note, this place is great for events, including company events where you need to host a luncheon. They offer AV services and it has plenty of parking.

I come to Phoenix ones a week for work and this is the place to be , such good food , great hookah too, but food and drinks you can't get it anywhere else. Compare to California prices, this is very affordable and yummy place, best kabobs in Phoenix. Super clean environment, I love stopping here ones a week at end of my day.

My overall experience is very good. Food has improved but could be better, and most of the time it arrives to the table cold. If you order Hookah, the charcoal service is slow, but they are all very polite

I ordered to go one evening and got the driest chicken I've ever received in my life. I literally would have choked if I didn't have a glass of water. If you want this type of food there are much better places that aren't passing off stringy dried chicken as a meal. There was no sauce at all either. Not a tzatziki or creamy garlic sauce to be seen. The baklava was not sticky and tasty, just more dry dough to make you thirsty. This is one of the worst restaurants I've eaten at the didn't even try on my order. Don't bother going here until they learn to serve their clientele good food.

I am not sure who the new owners of this place are, but they are horrific. 2 of my friends and I walked in to the restaurant tonight and were waiting patiently to be seated. We waited for about 5 minutes and nobody was there to seat us, so we figured maybe because it’s so late (12 am) it’s open seating. We proceeded to look for a table and hear a short man with glasses say “hey hey you, what are you doing this is a private event”? We told the short man we didn’t know it was a private event and apologized for walking in but nobody was helping us so we thought it was open seating, he then said “you can’t just sit” we told him ya, we understand. We’re not sitting? We asked if we were able to purchase tickets for the “private event” (which mind you the venue was half empty and nobody was singing” he said “it’s $20 a person”, we were talking amongst ourselves deciding if we wanted to stay because it was so late and the short man said “are you staying or leaving” EXTREMELY aggressively. We said “we’re trying to figure that out but the way you’re talking makes us not want to stay”, the short man then said “okay bye” and walked away? Extremely rude and unprofessional? I have never in my life received such awful service. He didn’t even give us a minute to decide if we wanted to stay. As someone who frequently would come to this restaurant, I will no longer be going (nor will my two friends who were with me) and we will make sure our families do not support this establishment as well. Please work on hiring better staff who know how to talk to customers with respect, especially women.

The place is good, new and clean, but one thing that made me dissatisfied is the service by the waitresses girls. It was very bad service. Unfortunately, the way they dealt with me was very rude and unfriendly. They made me completely dissatisfied so much, I am a respected customer and I deal with everyone with respect. I have never had a situation like this happen to me anywhere.

I love love this restaurant, the food is amazing service is great!!! The most important thing for me is how clean a restaurant is and this place is spotless. Hands down to the chef they make amazing food We go once a month we meet our family there and we have lunch and that’s the only way we’ll have it.

I recently dined at Layalina restaurant and lounge and had an absolutely delightful experience. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and were very knowledgeable about the menu. The food is simply outstanding, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The Layalina mix and Masgoof a must-try! The restaurant is spotless, from the dining area to the restrooms, showing that cleanliness is a top priority. The prices are very reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service. Overall, dining at Layalina restaurant was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a wonderful setting.

Booked this venue for my son’s baptism and it didn’t disappoint! Very friendly, food was delicious and the entire place looked beautiful. Great for a family environment and large crowds looking to host a special event. Highly recommend!
