The first time my husband and I went in December we had a wonderful experience the food was phenomenal the service amazing Tonight was completely different the service was horrible. First the dish both my husband and I wanted was not available and the prime ribs was pushed. I watched as 5 other tables that were sat after us get bread and drinks and the server told us “I put in for bread service let me check” I hen we did not see her for about another 20 to 30 minutes we finally get bread and our drink and our food comes out less than 5 minutes later. The prime rib was like warm the potatoes on the plate were cold and our shared sides were barely warm and no one brought us steak knives until we had sat with the food for over 10 minutes. The prime rib was tasteless the only thing on it was salt. We took it home for our dogs that is how bad it was. We are the type of people who will tip well if effort was made, no effort was made and we just wanted to leave and I didn't have exact change so the waitress ended up with a $5 tip. If I would have had exact change she would have received nothing that is how poor the service was. I was thinking of going back for my birthday but if your establishment screwed up and ignored us on just a run of the mill date night then I definitely don't want to come back to be upset and disappointed on a special occasion
We love eating here. The steak and lobster dinner was amazing! Our birthday dessert was bread pudding. It was the best bread pudding we have ever had. The pistachios gave it a unique touch. The service is always great. We will be back soon.
We at in the bar and service was exceptionally enjoyable. We had issues with one dish and they were extremely understanding and removed that item and suggested another item that we much enjoy - and dis. We had a great meal here and would return.
Our waiter graphic it was magnificent. He went the extra mile took care of us and this is not our first time we've been there for two or three years now and we love it. Best steakhouse in the west.
VERY expensive. French onion soup was mediocre. Shrimp cocktail was limp and no taste. Surf and Turf was good. Separate filet no taste. EXTREMELY slow service - more than we expect in expensive restaurants. Took 20 mins to get a second cocktail after asking 2 people to follow-up after ordering with a 3rd person. Dessert average. Ordered decaf coffee. They brought it in a silver French press pot and the server proceeded to push the plunger down as you do with French presses. He acted like it was hard to press and slowly pushed it down. After we had our cups I opened the top and there were no grounds in it. They had just poured decaf (I hope) coffee into the pot and pretended it was a French press. Tacky and declasse. Deceptive.
Laura the manager is awesome! She truly cares about the customer . Wait staff is also amazing!!!!
Had a great time. Food was great but the service was even better. Drinks are solid and no casino noise. Great place. We'll be back again
We dined on a Thursday evening. The service was impeccable. Thursday offers half price bottles of wine under $200. We split the surf and turf (filet and lobster tail) which was on special. The filet mignon was very tender and tasty. The lobster was a bit tough and salty. I will order something else the next time. We sat against a wall in cushioned bench seats. The seats are too low for the height of the table so I would recommend a table away from the wall. All in all the experience at Nineteen 86 is very, very nice.
Our server, Rania, was better than great, she was absolutely fantastic! She was personable and professional, and she brightened up our poor dining experience. The restaurant was quiet and the atmosphere was relaxed and that's where the good ended and the terrible began. I'm 6'2" tall and the plush seats were of such poor quality, that I literally sank into the cushion. So much so, that my "posterior" was below my kneecaps. Others in my party made the same complaints among ourselves. The food was delicious, but served luke warm at best. At $85.00 P/P, you'd think that a planned Thanksgiving dinner would be served hot from the kitchen to the table. At the end of the meal, we had coffee and dessert. Even the coffee was served luke warm and that's how the night ended. For a place with a supposed stellar reputation, it fell FLAT ON ITS FACE!! FYI... I notated my remarks on OpenTable (where I made the reservation) and to the American Express Platinum Concierge Department (who recommended the restaurant). Remember, first impressions are lasting impressions.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Our experience at Nineteen 86 Steakhouse at Desert Diamond Casino was nothing short of exceptional. We were celebrating a birthday, and from the very first moment, the service went above and beyond anything we expected.
Aria, our host, greeted us with such warmth and genuine hospitality that it immediately set the tone for the entire evening. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and truly taken care of. Her professionalism and friendly energy were the perfect start to our celebration.
And then there was Jazmine, our waitress—an absolute star. Her service was flawless from start to finish. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ensured every detail of our dinner was perfect. Her timing, attentiveness, and kindness made the night feel incredibly special. It’s rare to find someone who delivers five-star service with such grace and sincerity, but Jazmine exceeded even that.
The ambiance was elegant, the food was phenomenal, and the entire staff contributed to a night we will never forget. Thanks to Aria and Jazmine, what could have been an ordinary dinner became an extraordinary, memorable celebration.
Highly, highly recommend Nineteen 86 Steakhouse—we will absolutely be returning, and we’ll be asking for Jazmine every time! Forgot to mention our waitress handled a party of 14. Thank you a million!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were theirs for 2 hours and never received our food. The manager was not helpful at all when we complained about not receiving our meal.
Food was awful. Spent $200 for a salad and 5 bites of meat. Explained to server and manager but wasn’t offered any type of discount. Didn’t even get our deserts. Mashed potatoes were so greasy and thick with the butter. Asparagus had no taste. Meat was half rare and half well but the meat had no taste. Will never go back again. Server was awesome but food was terrible

Took out the Hubz for a belated Vets day celebration - heard great things about Nineteen 86! The restaurant and staff did not disappoint. Mr. had the bone-in ribeye - which was superb and too big to finish. I had the salmon, pan seared - and delish! The brussels sprouts - OMG - delish! Best part was the staff - Rafik and Ronda provided amaze balz service! Nice wine and beer selection if that is your thing! 100% satisfied - for sure going back!
The food has changed so much. The taste of the lobster bisque was milky and bland. The sautéed shrimp had no flavor. The oyster were way too expensive. This place has really went downhill. We have been going here for 5 or so years. Nd I would have never thought it would come to the point were I would honestly disappointed with what is supposed to be a 5 star restaurant. So sad
