What has happened to Ono Hawaiian BBQ? Wife decided to surprise me w/ Ono Hawaiian I use to love this place. I would order the Chicken Katsu w/ cooked cabbage & broccoli She had the fried seafood dinner. When she arrived back home... We had someone else's meal. No worries. Called the store and spoke to Jaime. He said either bring it back or he would have a comp meal for us next time. We are not close therefore we decided to try the food. It was a mixture of some sort of pork & the Katsu chicken I like. Not anymore. DRY, No Flavor. Wife had some sort of Soggy fish & shrimp. Fish was GROSS & shrimp Way Overcooked. I guess I am a glutton for punishment. We decided last night to pick up our complimentary meal that Jaime had for us. We called the store and was informed that Jaime was a Trainee and did not have the authority to comp meals. WHAT? Are you kidding Me! Needless to say that will be the LAST time that we venture to Ono Hawaiian BBQ Should have known. It is in the OH NO Hawaiian Oh No is RIGHT

My wife and I have been going to this location for about 8 months. The food quality was great in the beginning. The last few visits were very disappointing. The beef was tough and stingy as was the chicken. Also portions have been cut down. The cabbage use to have some broccoli mixed in. None on our last visit. I am going to look for a compatible place.

I had forgotten what excellent and tasty food they have at Ono Hawaiian BBQ. My wife and I picked up a to-go ordered and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both ordered extra vegetables as we remembered how nice they are prepared. We will be back.

The food was very good. However, the wait was too long after the app told us the food would be ready at a specific time. Please adjust the time in the app so we arrive when the food is ready and not have to wait at the counter.
Ordered around 4:05, received an email that pick up was 4:29. Arrived early, at 4:21 and said my name, guy never came back. Waited about 30 minutes or so after that. The guy was nice, offered a drink while I waited. Appreciate the gesture but would have been more appreciative if my order would have been ready in a timely manner. All of drive-through was taken care while I waited in the restaurant. It must’ve been like 4 or 5 cars that got their stuff before me. What’s the point of ordering online if it won’t be ready at that time?
