Was just here for dinner. I've been eating Portillo's for decades. Food was actually very good. My only complaint is they changed the pickles on the hot dog. like a garlic dill. Change the whole taste of the dog.

My wife ordered a chicago dog, as she usually does, she loves them there. But this time the skin on the hot dog was so tough, she could barely chew through it. And trying to do so, she destroyed the bun. So unless they change their hot dogs we will sadly😥not be back. There are way too many other restaurants we can spend our good money 💰 at.

This is a fun place to eat with all the memorabilia on the walls. The food is consistently good and the food is prepared quickly that you pick up at the counter.

Beef sandwich was great.
Nice and juicy and plenty of meat. Asked for sweet peppers. Could've added more peppers.

Won’t be giving Portillo’s my business until they stop making their employees take orders outside in the 110 degree weather when they aren’t busy enough to require them to do that

Long time portillos customer, born and raised in Skokie, IL. My family and I spend a lot of money here every year. Want to say close to $1,000 a year give or take. Attached is just a few months worth of transactions from my CC for Portillos.

Chicken tenders were not served with our initial order, we had to go back and request them, they gave us the wrong burger that had onion rings and bacon in it - we ordered just a regular cheeseburger which took 5 extra minutes, and within the layers of the big beef wrapping there was a hair too long to be mine and too short to be my wife’s.

We really didn’t care about any of these mistakes, things happen, it’s life, there were no bad intentions by serving our food this way, just a few mistakes which we can live with of course.

My wife and I hate complaining more than anything in life, but we felt the need to do it this time around. The attitude coming from one of the managers (taller, beach blonde dyed hair gentleman) when we expressed this was unbelievable. He questioned us, and never just owned the mistake and moved on, he had to get the last word in with us and create an argument about these issues.

Portillos missed on this gentlemen! His resume and experience can be great, but customer service skills are awful. I can’t believe we even contemplated never coming back ever again once we left.

Amazing brand just make sure they don’t miss on your food so you don’t have to deal with that guy!

Better to go here than fly halfway across the country for the same yummy food !!! I discovered Portillos on a bussines itrip to Chicago, and now they are close to home with the same great flavors I enjoyed in Chicago. Do yourself a favor and go get a Italian Beef !!!
