Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Went there on Sunday July the 13th, found a sign hanging in the window saying no soft serve, and then I was told only the base flavors of Italian Ice was available.
WTH its the middle if July and its freekin hot in Arizona! I don't get you? You can do better.

Love this place! Brings back memories of Italian villages in New York! One of the good things in life, cheap and huge amounts of Italian ice, and the Frozen Custard is amazing.

I got the mango custard cup it really tasted like mango and the custard was very creamy I was impressed!

there should be a separate pickup window for people that are picking up delivery orders so the delivery driver doesnt have to wait in line with everyone else despit the order already being ready and me having to wait 10 minutes for no reason, absolutely no critical thinking skills from whoever designed this pickup area. they should be fired.

Definitely not the best, but definitely not the worst. The flavors were mediocre of the Italian ice. I feel like there could’ve been a little bit more added to them. The custard was really good. I would recommend that for sure.. this place does not have any indoor seating only outdoor. The outdoor seating is limited. They only have five or six tables to sit at. The parking was awful. There are so many businesses near this place that I feel like the parking gets full because of that. I would say there are some areas that are accessible, but they might be a little far from the Rita’s Italian ice and frozen custard..

Total bummer. Had sign that said “be right back 3:30”. Showed up at 5:30 and no one there

This occurred sept 22, 2024. My family and I walked up to the window at 5:30p to get some custard and ice. There was a sign in the window that said “be right back 3:30”.

I was having a rough week and really needed a pick me up. I excitedly ordered my favorite blendini that I have been ordering since they first came out with them years and years ago. I order it the exact same way every single time. I was so excited to bite into my first bite expecting the delicious mix of chocolate custard, vanilla ice, and nilla wafers. I was hoping for the wafer crunch and kept hoping until my final bite. Where I enjoyed literally a piece of nilla cookie that was about the size of my pinky nail. My soul is sad.
