I was a regular at Santa’s for many years. I haven’t stepped foot in there in over a year because it genuinely became nasty. Even the smell of the restaurant was overpowering with like bad fish smell. And the food was horrible. And just because I believe in second chances, I tried it a second time. No improvement. This place has gone downhill so bad I will never be back.

This is not Sakana sushi! Sakana sushi went bankrupt and was replaced. I ordered the Baked scallop roll and the California roll. The scallops had an expired taste to them and the California rolls tasted and looked like they were purchased from fry’s. This restaurant cannot compare to Sakana sushi.

We eat here all the time. However, we don’t find it consistent. It’s always good but not the same.

Food is delicious, but when we went on May 21st, my daughter's birthday, they were closed.

Waited in the 100 degree heat for them to open along with about a dozen other people. After 20 minutes we all left. Google and the sign on their front door said open at 5.00. Won’t be back soon if they are this unreliable.

I have loved coming to this Sakana location for almost 20 years. The food and staff have always been great! So it’s very sad to see this very established restaurant who has many, many regular customers close after very short notice. I’m happy that we were able to go back on their last day and give the staff our support.Shame on the owner, Alex, for barely giving the employees a heads up that he was closing the restaurant! These employees have been loyal to your business and this is how you treat them?Btw, if you love their tataki salad dressing like I do, here’s the recipe so you can make your own.

This is my favorite place. we have been coming here for a good 10+ years, and this place never disappoints. I have driven 30+ miles to come eat here with family because they know this place is great ...

We have been coming to Sakana for almost 15 years and have LOVED it! We recommend this place to everyone. We decided to go today for dinner and to say we were disappointed would be putting it nicely. I feel like we could have walked across the street to Fry’s and had the same sushi experience for a fraction of the cost. The quality has seriously decreased and the pricing has seriously increased. Sadly to say- we will be on the hunt for a new sushi place. I would not recommend Sakana any more.

This place is great. Small menu, great food, intimate atmosphere, and the staff is always kind.

I have been coming to this restaurant for several years and have been happy. Today, I was utterly disappointed in the quality, quantity, taste, and lack of appearance of my lunch. I asked the waitress if there has been a change in cooks, management, and she stated there has not been. I will not be returning after 18 years of coming and bringing others! Totally disappointed
