This place was awesome and had a fun 50s diner setup with cool decor like old gas pumps and music from the 50s and 60s. The staff was super friendly, the food was great, and there’s a big menu worth coming back to try more from.

Hands down the best hidden gem I've found in the Glendale/Phoenix area. If Google had a 6-star option, this place would absolutely deserve it.

From the moment you walk up, you know you're stepping into something special. It’s an old-school diner located right on the Sanderson Ford property, and the vibe is spot-on. Before you even sit down, you’re greeted with a warm smile and a solid cup of coffee by Kara, who makes you feel right at home.

The interior feels like a trip back in time—in the best way possible. Classic, clean, and full of character. But let’s get to what really matters: the food.

On my first visit, I had “The Fiesta”—an all-meat combo breakfast burrito with two sides of Bruce’s salsa. That salsa should honestly be sold by the 50-gallon barrel—yes, it’s that good. Easily the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly.

I also tried “The MKX” Philly cheesesteak. The bread is baked in-house, and after chatting with Bruce and Paul (the chefs behind the grill), I found out most of the food here is made from scratch. You can taste the care and pride in every bite.

And here’s something that makes this place even cooler: almost all the burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast items are named after Ford trucks and cars. It’s a fun and fitting nod to the location—and somehow it just adds to the whole experience.

Since that first visit, this place has become my go-to. I came back again and tried “The Model A” mushroom and Swiss burger—another knockout. And yep, I grabbed another “Fiesta” burrito to go because some things are just too good not to repeat.

The portion sizes are generous, the prices are almost unbelievable, and the quality? Top notch. I challenge you to find anywhere else around here offering this kind of food, at this level, for these prices.

One thing to note: they’re only open Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. So get in while the griddle’s hot—you won’t regret it.

If you love great food made by people who genuinely care, this place is a must. Try it, and let me know what you think. You’ll thank me later.

I ordered a patty melt and onion rings. The onion rings were not fresh and the patty melt wasn't very tasty

I had never been to Sanderson Ford but had to get a recall taken care of. What a great way to wait - at a diner! The place is so adorable - right out of the past and the lady at the counter is so nice! The food was made to order and really good. Liked it so much, I came for an oil change and breakfast again today.

A few months ago, I found on the sidewalk outside Starliner Diner what I consider a significant amount of money. Believing it to be the proper and honest thing, I went back inside, turned the money in to the register lady, and told her how the find took place. As I left the money in her possession, it was of mutual understanding that the money would be returned should the rightful owner realize the loss and claim the money with exact denomination(s). If not, the old "finders keepers, losers weepers" was in effect.
I was less than a quarter mile down the road (and less than five minutes away) when I received a phone call from waitress B telling me the money I found had not been claimed and was going to be put into the "Tip" jar. What?!
My find was stolen from me right from under my nose after I believed I was practicing integrity and doing what was right!
Apparently, management is willing to sweep this under the carpet as I have heard nothing after bringing it to the attention of one some four weeks ago.
I had to chuckle the next week when waitress B came around the corner aghast and complaining that someone had stolen the "Tip" jar. She just couldn't believe someone would steal. Obviously, she did not correlate the two incidences. The week prior, I had felt the same way she was feeling at that moment.
What happened to, "Honesty is the best policy!" Not in this case. I'm out a good chunk of money.

Once you go through the doors you have entered the way back machine. You find yourself in a 50's style dinner. Elegant in its style and motif. Very clean inside and out. Many of the food items seemed to be transported to the 21st century. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
No paper plates or plastic cutlery. Real dishes, real food that taste great.
I had the chili-cheese fries and freshly made chocolate malt. BTW their French fries are made right in the diner daily.
Wireless diner has found itself on the campus of Sanderson Ford is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or late afternoon snack.
I look forward to returning there soon and try other items that are on the menu.

One of my top 3 favorite places to eat in Phoenix, best small diner. Lots of different foods to choose from, all cooked to perfection. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Parking: Located on the side of the Sanderson Ford dealership, large parking lot with lots of places to park excluding a few rental car only spots.

Most people aren't going to want to go to a Diner located inside a car dealership. Don't be one of those people. Starliner is a gem with great food, fresh cut french fries, and a special everyday for $6.99.
