discovered this bar when my husband's band Hard Luck played, we fell in love with it. I told all my friends at work about the open mic and they are super excited about it. Starlite couldn't have picked a better bunch of guys to host it.

I’m looking forward to Billy Wilson’s Open Mic session on Thursday nights.
I’ve spent a lot of money at the Starlight.
Billy and the backup band are, in my eyes, AWESOMESAUCE!!!

this is a great venue I seen Billy Wilson's band hard luck there the light show and the sound system is killer the service is Top Notch plus they have a nice patio out back to smoke in the only thing that I would say that was peculiar was there was a $5 cover charge and the band was worth five times that LOL I guess that's not a bad thing

Starlite just went under new ownership, and since this switch this bar is such a pleasant experience at any time of day weather 6am or closing time! Angela is usually slanging drank during the day and is the reason i kept coming back! Check out their happy hours, great bar food and even more amazing Mexican food! Check out their weekly events that happen at night! Karaoke or live bands and more to come

Our band The DreamSeekers have played there and it was a super awesome experience. The sound was the best I've ever heard!!! We drive an hour to come and play at starlite but with the professional sound system and thanks to the magic of their sound man Paul its definitely worth it. They are starting a open mic and with Billy Wilson at the helm it's going to be epic!!! The DreamSeekers will definitely be there! 🎸🎙️🤘

Nicer hole in the wall with karaoke nights. But good gawd the lighting outside is blinding. Nobody wants to walk outside after dark and feel like the sun just attacked them.

It’s extremely disappointing to have to share such a disappointing experience. On first meeting the karaoke host and simply being polite saying “ma’am, may I please sing a song” and being scolded by the host who is clearly a woman that she in fact does not identify as the sex she so clearly is, I was taken back by the aggressive nature in which she handled that. I however accepted and respected her statements. We started going back to this place on karaoke nights multiple times, even winning the karaoke contest that I participated in. We truly were starting to like going here but never again! The group I was with wanted to sing bump and grind but was immediately told absolutely not. When asked why we were told because the host simply doesn’t like the artist of the song. Here is where the problem lies. As a karaoke host, you are paid to be there for the customers of the bar. You’re not being paid to lecture, educate, or embarrass the bar’s customers in anyway. Furthermore, watching this place slowly turning into some sort of trans/gay bar on karaoke nights is not my forte either but seeing how I’m there to drink and sing I honestly couldn’t have cared less about the crowd of others there but I do have to say, how ironic is that? This place hires someone who is incredibly rude and reprimands is guest for not conforming or engaging to her personal lifestyle choices, and demands the bars guest being open or ok to all that and she will aggressively confront a guest who simply looks uncomfortable because they just saw two humans of unknown orientations showing at times way to much PDA. It sad because in the few months we’ve been going I’ve been witness to and informed by no less than 7 other people that they will never go back to karaoke there due to the host, and now myself and the 4 friends of our group won’t either due to the host and her “agenda”. There is a reason people say the two things you should never talk about at a bar, politics and religion.

Maybe it was just an off night, but it took almost half an hour to get a beer, no service at tables, and only one bartender serving a house of over 50 people. Not good. Bands, DJ, sound and lighting were all excellent!

Had a fun night watching performers and having a few drinks. The staff and promotions were all top notch.
