It was just as other reviewers described as having slow service and OK food, but I went with it because it was so convenient to the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel. 3 minute walk. Can't beat that. I brought my daughter for her birthday and the goal was to give her and amazing experience and that was achieved. It was pretty empty when we walked in at noon. Reservation wasn't needed at all for but west gate as a whole was pretty empty. The food was just ok. For the price, I would have liked the quality to be far better. But again, for the experience. I tried ordering a few things off the menu but a few things were not available. I think there was one other waitress aside...
They took about 10 minutes just to seat us. We didn't even get a greeting when we came in. They just kept walking by us. When we got to sit down, gave us our menu. We felt like we were rushed to order. Ordered our drinks, the only person who was nice was the person who poured our drinks. They didn't even check on us. We waited another 10 minutes for our check. It wasn't a very pleasurable experience. The drinks were good. That's about it. Wish it was better....
