Not a lot of flavor for Mexican food... The best part was the strawberry drink?

Went in for 3 carne asada burritos one was mostly beans than meat. The cashier on duty also did not understand me on how I wanted to pay she said "what " to me 3 times so I just said forget it. Ive been to the other huichos this one disappointed me not going back to this one!!

I decided to give this place a try today and I was not very happy with it. We paid $58 for 6 tacos, a flatuas combo, 1 piña agua fresca, 6 tamales and 2 gelatinas.

6 Tacos: 2 tripa and 2 lengua were ok, 2 chorizo were not good the chorizo felt raw like it wasn't cooked. The chorizo tacos were not edible.

Flautas combo: the rice and beans were ok. The one issue I had was that the flautas were soggy, not sure if the lettuce was rinsed and water shaken off before added to the plate and my flautas fell apart. I live a mile away so it's not like I let them sit long for it to get soggy.

Agua fresca is good just needs more ice, it was warm when i got it.

Tamales: tamales were strawberry flavored, they don't really have a taste and they felt grainy and dry.

Gelatinas were the best part of the experience.

I think this place has a couple points they can improve on. I hope to give this place a 2nd shot sometime, but for now it's a no for me.

This place is awesome. I got a pollo, al pastor and carne asada taco to try out their meats, every one of them were amazing and only $2 each. The taco spot by my house is charging $3.85 a taco and isn’t as good. I’ll definitely come back here. Thank you ladies!

We usually enjoyed this place, but the last two times were bad. The food was not fresh and this last cost our cilantro was rotten and brown and the meat was not fresh. We were all talking about how disappointed we were because the food was not fresh. My mother-in-law got the cabasa tacos and my wife and I got the carne asada tacos. We were all sick as dogs with food poisoning. It was miserable. I know it was this place that had gotten us sick because it was the only place we all ate at together. Sad to say we won't be back. If you get this message I would suggest checking your food temps and cross contamination procedures.
