WONDERFUL little GEM! Has not disappointed in the many years we've patronized this delightful little place! Had not been there in maybe 2 decades and it was STILL fantastic. Absolutely charming, quaint little Victorian house-turned-Tea House/Lunchery. Hand-painted floral, rim-gilded China tea cups, Granny's lace galore, adorable ceramic knick-knacks, very nice people, and best of all, GREAT FOOD. Quiche is always a winner, as are the made-from-scratch giant, fluffy rolls with real butter. (Not for the gluten-fearful! lol) They also have wonderful desserts such as bread pudding and cherry cream cheese pie. The have tea parties with all the trimmings--scones with cream, dainty finger sandwiches, pastries, floral tea pots. (I celebrated my birthday with a tea party many years ago and can't wait to have afternoon tea there again.) The setting is the idyllic home your fantasy great-great- grandmother owned, where she grew vegetables and herbs in her garden, did needlework, and baked homemade goodies from scratch in her frilly lace-trimmed apron.Go see Granny! Immediately. YUM
Food and tea were great. The service was rushed tense and unattentive. The service made the experience undesirable. When the waitress gave us the menu she was impatient and spued the menu specials out of her mouth so fast and rudely that we asked her to repeat them please we didn't hear them all. She then copped an attitude and then became indignant with us.Rushing us along like little children tardy for class. Love the tea and food. The restaurant is very small and cramped but would go back for the tea not the service. If there is to be a next time, I would speak to the management about the service. It ruined a perfectly delightful experience.

Great chicken salad!
I’ve been to so many tea shops and I love this one the most! Inside is so aesthetic and the food is amazing.
Parking: I’ve been going to this place having tea with my mother since I was a little girl we would get dressed up and we will enjoy the atmosphere and I still go to this day and it’s been 30 years later so make sure you step by

Three stars on the food because the quiche was on the soft side and the chicken pot pie was in fact not a pot pie. It was a soupy liquid served in a coffee mug served with a square 4”x4” crust. My plan is to try a sandwich next time.Tea, scone and shortbread were great, as well as the service.
What a cute and special place to have tea or a meal. Felt very Christmasy with different trees in each room. The quiche was delicious. I look forward to coming back.

Drove an hour to have lunch for the holidays. Got there right when they opened and it was completely empty. We were turned away and just told NO that we could not get a table for lunch. Not only were we turned away for a party of 3, but when I asked if there was another tea room nearby was told NO. Guess what..... there was a lovely team room 3 doors down from The Spicery with the nicest people that were so welcoming. The pure curtness from the host at The Spicery and being turned away was an interesting experience. Our new favorite place will be The Pink Door Tea House for Holiday Tea!
It was wonderful to have a private room for our small group getogether. The food was delicious and the service was great - as always.Queen Victoria tea - perfection.

We attended one of the monthly princess teas they offer. This is such a magical experience for little girls! My children love these events. The three course tea was wonderful and well curated to meet both a child’s palate and a separate offering for adults. Highly recommend attending at least once. The staff was beyond nice and attentive to all our needs. They do a different theme every month which keeps it exciting for return visits.
This was the worst meal I have ever had a resturaunt. It was beyond terrible. I ordered the turkey sandwich that contained the worst turkey spamlike material and this horrible brown guacamole. My aunt ordered the potato sald that wa sloaded with huge olive pits. It was all horrible. The tea was alright. But, this place is awful.
Just delightful. We got the full tea . More food than you can finish. Everything was nicely presented and delicious. Everyone was so nice and welcoming.
The cutest tea house. Our girls loved it and the food was great. They have asked to come back for their birthdays.
