I’ve been a regular customer at this bar and never had any issues before, but what happened on Saturday, November 8th (afternoon shift) was really disappointing.

The bartender working alone that day — she said her name was Inesa — charged me for 10 beers, even though my friend and I only had 6 beers in total. The ticket she marked clearly showed 8, but she insisted that I had 10, as if I was too drunk to notice.

I really hope the owner looks into this, because it’s not right to overcharge customers, especially those paying by card. Unless she had permission from management (which I doubt), this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

I’ve always liked this bar and never had any problems with other bartenders, but this experience with Inesa was frustrating and disappointing. Customers deserve honesty and fairness — not to be taken advantage of.

A local bar with several locations in the metro area. This location is a great fit for drinks and socializing or not.

watch out for the short little blonde here that works on weekends. Mandy? She will keep your change or short change you. She has done it several times to me now in the past that it is not accidental. Last night she tried to keep a $20, got my change back finally after having to ask the other bartender and it was $5 short of course which is exactly the crap this lady always pulls.

Lola's Lumpia

We’ve had the pleasure of being invited to this bar both as guest and to set up our food tent! Either way we get nothing but love and everyone from the security to the bartenders are always so nice! Come get Lola’s Lumpia on Friday nights!

Every time my friends and I come to this bar, we end up having a negative experience because of one particular security guard. Instead of helping create a safe, welcoming environment, he seems to go out of his way to single our group out and make us uncomfortable.

On our most recent visit, he made a rude, unnecessary comment about my friend's height after checking his ID , completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Throughout the night, he kept watching us closely, especially while we were just playing pool, like he was waiting for a reason to confront us. At one point, we accidentally placed a drink on the pool table, and he immediately came over and threatened to kick us out. While we understand there are rules, there was no need for the hostility and it felt like he had it out for us from the start.

To make things worse, he followed us out to our car at the end of the night to mansplain how the pool tables and drink rules work, which felt completely unnecessary and invasive. We were already leaving -- there was no reason to keep pushing the issue.

We go out to relax and enjoy ourselves, not to feel harassed or mocked. There's a clear difference between enforcing rules and singling people out. I hope management sees this and reconsiders how they train and supervise their security staff.

Poor service

If you like dive bars this is a good neighborhood dive bar. People are pretty friendly for the most part. It's a very small establishment so seating can be difficult. Expect to stand if you're there in the evening. There is an outdoor patio so you can bring your drink with you if you are a smoker. There are a couple pool tables but space is again, pretty limited. Bartenders are nice and attentive. They seem to have the occasional bar fight now and again but nothing that gets too out of hand.. just your normal occasional a-hole. Not convenient to bring a large group of friends but fun if you are just meeting up with one or two people. The bar itself is usually packed. Parking is pretty spread out and can be limited since it is in a shopping center. Great prices, 4 1/2 stars for a west-side dive bar! Not sure if they serve food here though, I don't think they do unfortunately as I saw no one with food and the kitchen (if there was one) would have to be so extra small. It didn't look like they sold any snacks (chips, jerky, ect.) either. But all your core beer choices are available and served cold.

Updated Review: Disappointing Behavior and Unprofessional Treatment

I’m updating my review after some recent events. Despite giving Stephanie, the bartender, multiple chances, her poor attitude never changed, and I’ve decided not to return. What’s even more troubling is the pressure on people I know to have me take down my review. One individual, who at 1st was allowed but hadn’t been to the bar for a while, was recently denied entry by David, the security guard. He said that Stephanie wouldn't allow this person back in unless my review was removed. This is not only unprofessional, but it’s also retaliatory behavior. It’s wrong for a business to bully or intimidate anyone for sharing their honest experience. David has also been acting inappropriately, flirting with customers and making them uncomfortable when they don’t respond. He also dated this individual he denied access to from last year b4 the summer up to quite a few weeks ago. Personal feelings should not be involved if you are going to date patrons that you should be protecting and not praying on. Such behavior creates a toxic environment and makes me question the values of this establishment. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this bar to anyone.

ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:
A Not-So-Great Experience at the Bar 😕

My evening at tonys might have started with high hopes, but it took a sharp nosedive the moment I approached the bar. Stephanie was the bartender on duty, and to put it gently, it just wasn’t a great match. While I understand that everyone can have an off night, i have been here about 4 times now and her attitude is consistently off-putting.

First impressions matter, and unfortunately, Stephanie’s lack of enthusiasm was palpable. It was as if she was not just behind the bar but also behind an invisible wall. A simple smile or friendly banter would have gone a long way in making patrons feel welcome, but instead, it felt like I was intruding on her personal space.

As for the drinks, I had anticipated some creativity, but what I received was a muddled concoction that was far from memorable. My cocktail hardly resembled what I had ordered, and the taste left much to be desired. I left with the feeling that mixing cocktails might not be her strongest suit.

Lastly, I hate to mention it, but I couldn’t help but notice an oddly pungent scent that lingered around her. I’ve been to many bars, and I certainly don’t expect everyone to perfectly uphold Michelin star standards in cleanliness, but there’s something to be said about a pleasant ambiance — and this definitely missed the mark.

I genuinely hope that Stephanie finds her groove again, whether it's improving her bartending skills, enhancing her customer service or improving her hygiene. Until then, I'll be exploring other options around town. Cheers to better nights ahead! 🥂
