This place is extraordinary for sushi virgins and veterans alike! I had my first sushi dish (salmon sashimi) here about a decade ago, and I've been returning with my family ever since. The owner is very friendly and clearly loves his restaurant and patrons equally. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally did, on Mother's Day. It did not disappoint!!! The husband does not like sushi or at least he didn't *think* he liked sushi. We got the yellow tail and the chef made our own personal sashimi it was amazing. When the chef found out my husband was a newbie he also gave him a couple other items on the house. We had a lot of fun and wait staff was energetic and attentive.
