Globe/Superior is your go-to place for mexican food in Arizona and Irene's doesn't disappoint. I stop here every time I come through town. It's fast, good and the price is right. Their salsa has just the right amount of heat.

Great place to eat Mexican food when you are in Globe or passing through from Show Low/Mountains.This trip I brought my 90 yr old Dad up with me to visit some gravesites and go eat Mexican food which is always a ritual with my family. (We love to eat out especially Mexican food).Irene's Restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms.Place was decorated cute with colorful flowers, and service was excellent. Jennifer, our super friendly server, was right on top of evening that we needed and even brought 2 boxes and bags for our leftovers and chips to take home too.The music that was playing was pretty good too. Some country, some new music but overall good, happy music.We will definitely recommend this place to others and we will be back soon!

Nice roadside diner atmosphere and quick service. I had the Green Chile Chimichanga and it was very good. Overall I dont think this is a place worth going far out of your way for, but it's a good local spot when you're on the road.

My family and I visit Irene’s all the time and the service is always amazing! Alisha is the best and takes care of everyone. We were just there yesterday and Jennifer was super friendly and food was great!

Same thing happened to us large group with a reservation and couldn’t seat us. Unacceptable poor customer service from the staff. Treated the elderly gentleman poorly and had no respect
We had a reservation for a party of 17 for a celebration (made 2 days before and confirmed the day before). When we arrived the waitress mentioned that “no one” told her there was a reservation (our name was posted on the reservation board) and proceeded to say “nobody communicated us”. My complaint is that the waitress responded rudely to my father and ignored the whole party without giving us an estimated wait time. I was absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service and how rudely the waitress spoke to my 87 year old father. Due to the rude customer service, we left the restaurant. If you’re passing through town, there are many other Mexican restaurants in the area with friendly staff.
