Worth the trip. When in town it my go to for a comfortable atmosphere with a slow pace and friendly folks.
No premade foods here... its from scratch made in house delicious meals, whether breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe you'll enjoy their big portions there or in a take home box too.
My favs are the stuffed pancake and sausage gravy and pillowy buttermilk biscuits.
Meatloaf, Alaskan cod,
Specials all the time...
Stop in when on the east side in Gold Canyon.
Large portions, fast friendly service.
Celebrated my best friend's 99th birthday here!
Best breakfast in Gold Canyon!
Amazing diner I stumbled upon with my neighbor after an appointment . Great food, service and atmosphere. The staff came around and asked us multiple times if we needed anything and how our food was. Definitely will be back!!
Best chili cheese fries. The fish is pretty dry but super tasty.
We love their daily specials!!

We stayed at lost Dutchman state park and this was a close option for breakfast. It was also well rated so we opted to try it.
Tucked away in a strip mall with little more than the word cafe above its doors- it had many table options open for our arrival. This seems like an off the beaten path place for locals to enjoy. A hidden gem if you will.
The decor is nice- it’s modern and has photographs on the walls- local artists for display. They do also sell handmade soaps and lotions at the cash. They allow you to sample these by providing bars in the rest room.
The tables are cool-
They have advertisements built into the tops.
Kind of a retro feel.
The staff is friendly and easy going.
The menu is pretty expansive with options for everyone.
I tried the chicken burrito. Also shared blueberry danish French toast with my partner. He had the chicken fried steak.
So the portions here are absolutely MASSIVE.
the quality of food is pretty good too.
I wouldn’t recorder the burrito- it was difficult to eat and needed to cut it apart which I felt defeated the purpose. The spice level was tolerable and tasty.
I got through 3/4 of it before tapping out and rolling out the door.
The French toast was an absolute ten on ten. So tasty. So amazing. You don’t even need to add syrup it’s good as it is. The blueberries are baked into the bread. I’m drooling thinking about it and writing this review.
My partner loved his dish. The fried steak was perfectly crispy and tasted incredible.
We would return, I’d just pick something else.

I have worked here for 12 years. I absolutely love the homemade food and atmosphere. Family owned and operated places are always the best.
