I ordered a special pizza to be delivered and when it came It looked like a puddle of grease. My wife and I both tried a piece and we were not able to keep it down. Had to throw it out. We are regulars at Barro’s but after that we will find a different pizza place. I called to explain and all they did was say sorry. Save your money and go somewhere else. Worst experience.

I am new to Arizona and I thought Texas pizza was good..... this pizza is so far the best pizza I've probably ever eaten, and I've eaten pizza from New York before. Their crust is delicious, they load their toppings and they don5 skimp on cheese. Their Barros specialty pizza is what I had. I also had their salad bar, which is also delicious.
I will say the atmosphere is a little eh. Its just a little dark for my liking. But I came for the food, not the ambiance. Which is why they get 5 stars all day long.
There isn't a lot of seating. I think I saw one corner booth that could seat like 6-8 people, so if youre gonna sit amd eat, I would suggest no more than 4 people.

I would have gone 5 stars if it wasn't for the 25min wait even at 10pm when there was like 3 customers there and only 2 things in the pick up box but that's my only complaint the food is great.

Well, I had to update my review of BARROS. I ordered my first gluten-free pizza from this location. They only offer gluten-free in 10 inch mini pizza but I believe you can get any type of pizza they offer. Even though they say the pizza is gluten-free, I would say eat at your own risk. I don’t believe the pizza is cooked in a separate pan or cut with a separate knife There is a lot of chance of cross-contamination. As for the gluten-free pizza, the toppings were great, but the actual pizza crust left a lot to the imagination not very tasty. I would love to find a great pizza with a great crust somewhere in Phoenix. The staff was great service was excellent and the pizza came out hot.
