I don't normally write reviews but my experience was so disappointing.. would give 3 or even 2 stars but I honestly feel bad doing that.. I went in to read a book (finally had some me time since I'm a mom) & have a nice drink but man was it dirty in there.. I kept killing gnats around me.. I think I killed like 3 but they just kept coming at me.. the floor was also pretty dirty like it hasn't been swept for a long time.. I saw some dust bunnies, straw papers & hair.. the drink was good though.. I really want to come back since it's so close to me & I love the drinks but I'm not sure if I'd be able to drink it inside to have a nice, relaxing moment for myself.. I'll try again though.. I hope this gets fixed.. (only reason I'm writing this)
I’m really disappointed with my experience today. My sister and I came in to get drinks, and we overheard staff making fun of my drink and complaining about it being free through the app. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. When we ordered, the service felt cold and unfriendly. There was no basic customer service or politeness.
We also heard staff talking negatively about other customers after they left. Customers deserve respect regardless of what they order or how they pay.

I'm actually disappointed because Black Rock is my favorite and so is this location on Yuma And Cotton lane. I just left here 5 minutes ago...to realize my drink is mostly foam. This has never happened here. I'm usually always please with what they make but not today

The level of customer service here is shockingly poor. There is a deeply rooted culture of arrogance, favoritism, and blatant disrespect that starts with the staff and clearly traces back to management. This is not an isolated issue, it is systemic. Employees behave as if they are above the customers they are meant to serve, offering attitude instead of assistance and indifference instead of professionalism. There is a clear failure in hiring standards, training, and leadership oversight. Basic courtesy is treated as optional, and accountability appears nonexistent. Whatever internal dynamics are being protected here, they come at the expense of the customer experience, and it shows. Businesses survive on respect and competence. This place demonstrates neither. If this environment continues, the outcome is predictable: lost trust, lost customers, and a reputation fully earned. Disrespect is not edgy, impressive, or excusable, it is simply bad business.

Hands down one of the most disrespectful, unprofessional coffee shops I’ve ever walked into. The young girls working at this Black Rock location were openly rude, dismissive, and acted like acknowledging customers was beneath them. No greeting, no eye contact, just attitudes and intentional ignoring.
It was especially obvious that they have zero respect for door-to-door businesses or anyone who doesn’t fit whatever image they approve of. As a minority, I felt completely unwelcome and brushed off, which was both uncomfortable and infuriating. The way they treated me came across as discriminatory, judgmental, and outright hostile.
Save yourself the frustration and go to Dutch Bros on Estrella Parkway instead at least they know how to treat people with basic human decency, regardless of who they are or what they do. This Black Rock location should be embarrassed. I will never return, and I strongly suggest others don’t waste their time or money here either.

Although we enjoyed the drive through, my whole family noted the service was spectacular.
Additionally, me and my family are avid Starbucks customers and we all agreed that the coffee from Black Rock Coffee Bar was next level, easily eclipse Starbucks in taste and available options.
I want one to open next door to my house!!

Been going to BRC for the last couple of weeks now, tried various types of hot/cold coffee options, and all have more or less always been good! Highly recommend, as their roast has a better flavor compared to other coffee shops nearby.

So I order my coffees every day and they’re usually perfect with extra extra ice and I love it! However, this morning I had to order twice and I even put half sweet on my drink order and it taste like I’m just drinking syrup. I’m not sure who’s working this morning but can you please train them on what half sweet means please and thank you. It’s a 20$ order for one drink and I work from home so I can’t leave the house 😭 i can’t just drink sugar that’s gross 🤢
I only wanted to know how they toasted their bread because I like my bread toasted on the well side. The bacon sandwich I ordered, one half of the muffin was super hard from the attempt to extra toast and the other half was perfect. So when I bit into the bread, I didn’t get the whole bite and burned my lip with the cheese. I will live.
One person seemed irritated when I asked again about the process, and another picked up the conversation to explain they use an oven that is preheated to 500 degrees. Lesson learned to not order their breakfast sandwiches because it’s not a traditional toaster and they can’t really do a well toast - for those who like theirs this way too.
I went back to my table to drink the drip coffee I ordered but that was horrible and tasted old or burnt. I threw that away as well.
This was disappointing because the first time I visited this place, it was great! Not sure I will go back after this visit, spending money without satisfaction.

Just left Black Rock and the coffee was amazing and the DRIVE THRU service was fast and on point. They even let me upgrade my drink at the last minute without any issues. I will admit the drive thru is the better way to go with this particular location. I concur with previous comments regarding the counter service since I’ve had a similar experience here, the staff needs to be more attentive & inviting to guests. Overall, I’m definitely satisfied with Black Rock Goodyear 👍

⭐ 1-Star Review (And that’s being generous)
This coffee shop is hands-down one of the most frustrating, disrespectful places I’ve ever tried to order from.
First disaster:
I came in for a white chocolate iced Americano. They told me they were out of half-and-half and asked if I wanted milk. As someone who was a barista for FOUR years, I told them I didn’t want 2% milk mixed with water, because that’s not how I like my americanos. I said I’d just switch to an iced latte instead. Somehow these geniuses still handed me a drink made with water, 2% milk, and white chocolate — literally the exact thing I said I didn’t want. It’s like they heard the words but their brains just checked out.
Second disaster:
Next time, I asked for a white chocolate macadamia nut iced latte. The barista tried telling me it “comes with chocolate,” and when I explained — very clearly — that I wanted white chocolate, she just stood there staring at me like I was speaking another language. Then I asked for cold foam with caramel but changed my mind and said vanilla instead. (Before the drink was even made) She turns around to the girl at the bar and proceeded to tell her I changed the flavor of cold foam and the bar girl loudly goes, “Oh my God, really?”
I’m sorry, but if making a simple cold foam flavor change sends you into a meltdown, maybe customer service isn’t your calling. The attitude was disgusting. I told them straight up that they were being disrespectful, and I walked out. I’ll happily spend my money somewhere that knows how to make coffee and treat customers like actual human beings.

The customer service here is pissed poor. I’ve tried to place 3-4 times and every time it’s a big disappointment. I’ve placed my orders ahead of time and get there after the set time and my order is never ready. To top it off, the girls are disrespectful and rude. You’re at work, when there are customer there, get off your phones and side chat and take care of the customer. Very incompetent and rude employee (definitely not there to work) FYI, it wasn’t busy at all.
