Small and cozy strip mall breakfast/lunch restaurant. The service is great, seated fast, and served drinks fast. After ordering, the food was plated and to the table in under 10 minutes. The quality of the food is top shelf. The Bloody Mary had just the right amount of spice. The waitress maintained contact all the way through breakfast, refilling drinks when needed, and taking care of the check efficiently. This may be my new go-to breakfast restaurant...

Great breakfast spot tucked into a strip mall in Avondale. We had the Popeye omelette with a side of hollandaise and the Country Stacked. Both were generous portions and delicious. The server was very friendly and attentive, food came out quickly and hot. We also had the French toast to share, which as ok. Overall a great locally owned place in the west valley. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Stopped at this locally owned diner for breakfast after hearing about it on facebook. We were promptly greeted and sat at a table. The restaurant was very clean and modern. The menu had quite a few selections for breakfast and lunch, they are only open until 2 PM. I ordered an omelette which came with potatoes and a choice of toast or a biscuit with sausage gravy. I opted for the biscuit and gravy. My wife ordered the eggs and bacon breakfast which came with toast and fruit in the side. The total cost including two drinks for breakfast was $43. That sounds a little expensive for breakfast but the food was very good and very filling, I could not finish the omelette. The eggs and bacon meal came with 4 large pieces of bacon and the fruit bowl was actually fresh fruit and not the normal under ripe melon that accompanies breakfast. My wife commented that this was one of the best sides of fruit she had had. The biscuit and gravy was very good, I absolutely made the right choice. I highly recommend the Country Griddle and will be stopping in soon for lunch.

The wait wasn’t long for a Saturday morning. They have personal seating to the back of the restaurant. I had florentine Benedict’s it was good. It was different, although it’s not like the classic Benedict.

It was great! The food was amazing and very delicious, the service is amazing and the atmosphere is great, I highly suggest you visit this amazing restaurant to enjoy in. P.S: I went with my family so it might be a bit pricey. I had also recently visited again and it was amazing! I had gotten the same meal again and it was delicious, the food and employees over there were great and I would definitely come back to eat at this amazing place! Thank you Country Griddle for the amazing food and have a wonderful day/night.

I took my family to my favorite spot. I’ve told lots of people about this place. BUT TODAY! I have a special needs child. He has an eating disorder and we bring his food where we go to eat because he doesn’t eat just anything. Waitress told us he could bring his food in but can’t eat it. I asked for the owner and he said he wrote the policy and wasn’t changing it. It applies to everyone. I told him how I’ve spent at least 1 thousand dollars here and I’ve had many meeting here. I told the owner and his wife that my child was special needs and they said that’s the policy. I told them I’d never come back and loudly expressed to the filled restaurant how they do not accommodate special needs children there. I will spend five minutes of everyday making sure that country griddle is known for this. I may even go hold up a sign in my free time because someone has to stand up for special needs children.
Saturday morning, very busy, 12 min wait. Service was fast! Food was fresh, well prepared, and appropriate portions. Just became our #1 breakfast spot.
