Black Bear Diners always deliver outstanding breakfast! I made a point to stop for breakfast and I’m glad I did. KJ was wonderful (there are no BBs close to my home and she answered all of my questions). I got the breakfast sandwich to go and it was delicious!

I was feeling extremely sick and tired. I just wanted to get a good hot meal before I went home to bed had a lot of chores to do today so I just want to take a nap before I had to get it done but after the great customer service and help me I felt way better got a lot of things done today. I’m very grateful for the meal and I’ll definitely come here again. It was absolutely worth the money. The New York medium steak was absolutely amazing. It came with hashbrowns or red potato. I got a red potato cut up. It was absolutely delicious. It also came with a side of waffles and I got myself a Diet Pepsi.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to get a good warm meal quick

We were in Goodyear for Doctors appointments and we decided on Black Bear Diner for dinner. We were seated and greeted by the best server imaginable. Her name is Miriam!!!! She was friendly pleasant and attentive. Couldn't ask for more. We didn't want for anything, she checked on us at the right times. She will definitely keep us coming there when in town. Than we came back for breakfast and we were almost done and she was coming into work at 9 am if we knew that we would have waited. She still had that smile on her face and ready to work. She is a pure joy and reminds me of my sons grandmother. Please do everything possible to keep this very kind caring woman.

I waited patiently for a very long time for my breakfast order. My waitress was very unfriendly and unattentive, Never providing me with a coffee refill during my extended wait. After speaking with the manager Holly, I found out my waitress never placed my order. When Holly questioned my waitress about my order she said, I'm busy rolled her eyes and walked away. My day started out with meeting the BAD APPLE of Black Bear Diner.

Sat at the bar waited almost 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. Finally got to order our drinks just to be forgotten about for another 15 mins. We had to ask someone else to take our order. And its not even that busy. Yall have so many people walking around stop talking to other coworkers and do your job. And all the food that is cooked is just sitting under the warmer for 10+ minutes. Finally after an hour we got our food and it was ice cold after sitting under the warmer for 10 minutes. And to top it off the over charged us on the bill.

The entrance to Black Bear diner in Goodyear is very cute. The benches have bears carved out of wood on them. We were greeted warmly as we came in the door. Our server Kelly, was very attentive. She made sure to fill my coffee cup several times before I even asked. I had the corned beef hash and a breakfast which was a very large, so I took some of it home with me. My daughter had the sweet cream waffle which had a bear paw indentation in the center. The breakfast was very good, reasonably priced and the staff is outstanding. They really do take care of the customer. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I know we're going back to try their fish fry.
