Macayo's Mexican Food

This was the worst dining experience my mother and I have experienced in years. I wanted to surprise my mom with Macayo's, as she loved the one that shut down (75th Ave & Thomas).
THIS! AWFUL SERVICE, DIRTY TABLES EVERYWHERE, COLD FOOD, EXTREME WAIT TIMES FOR SEATING, DRINKS, FOOD, AND BILL.
The waitress was unprofessional and rude; she never looked us in the eye, never smiled, never checked on us, and presented the wrong order for both of us, that was at room temperature!
We are telling all our friends and family not to go there.
We'll not be back.

Hire better staff or you'll shut your restaurant down.

Very pleasant, you could tell the staff had just had a massive rush. However they still managed to take care of us very well.

We were seated in the bar shortly after noon. No waiting for seating. We both ordered the chimi and the house margaritas are delicious!

I was there tonight with by 3 boys after having a super long day with work and appointments. Restaurant was not too crazy busy but i did notice only one waiter. Food took a while longer than usual but it was delicious.
Leo! U have such great customer service. I saw you rushing to get plates and drinks to every table constantly checking up to see if anyone needed anything! Kudos to you for being such a great character even when working under pressure and on your own from what was seen!

We ordered shrimp fajita for $20.99 and upgraded to the sharable plate for an additional $9.99. So, for $31 we got two small tortillas and EIGHT very small shrimp (with customary sides.) If that's the sharable platter, one would assume that the regular $20.99 platter would have 5 shrimp and one small tortilla? Taco Bell is a better value.

Macayos was a favorite for years. About a year ago we decided to go there, set down in the dining room and after 15 minutes of no service we left. Last week we tried again. Set down next to a table with 6 ladies. 10 minutes of sitting they with no service and both our table and the 6 ladies also left

The food is dry, no flavor, and the drinks are watered down. The waitress was awesome but overwhelmed. Some rude guy that work there approached us asking if we needed anything while waiting for our bill. That was not cool. Not worth the money
