Papa Johns Pizza

We had never been into a Papa John's before and were very disappointed. The menu (way above our heads and hard to read) the non descriptive cute names for dishes made choices difficult and the counter kid was surly and acted put out that we couldn't order without asking what was actually being served.
The food was over cooked and dry, and the bill was about 40% higher than we expected, especially for the quality and quantity we recieved.
Maybe the clerk was having a bad day, as well as the "cook." We have no intention of returning to find out. ,We had to ask for napkins, salt, and Parmigian cheese packets, as there were none anywhere for self serve.
Also, we were there on a Sunday at about 3:00, and there were no other customers but us, so no excuses there. We ate on a public bench near there, as there is no inside or outside seating provided.
In the 25-20 minutes that we were eating, wa saw only one other couple came in.
No surprise there.
This is the Estrella location in a more upscale area, other locations may be different.

Pretty solid pizza in Estrella Mountain. Better than the other spot across the parking lot for sure.

Last time I ordered from them took an hour and a half and it was cold. Complained they didn't care. Complained to Corp. They replaced a large meat with a medium cheese that wasn't worth getting. I'll never order another thing.

I was super worried after reading the reviews, but I ordered a large pizza .. could have Ben in the oven a little longer no biggie , I got wings they where fire ! And new pepperoni bites over all it alot better then the reviews,

This was my first time trying papa johns and it was amazing ? I think what made the experiences better was the employee Shaun that made sure my first pizza would be the best.

1 hour and 30 minutes and still not here and I am literally 10 minutes away driver very polite after he finally showed up

Deliver people are always friendly, but the food is the absolute worst. I've ordered wings twice from there with basically no sauce on them. Pictured is what I ordered vs what I got. The pizza was cold and the sauce was open and spilled all over the inside of the pizza box.

Dietary restrictions: Crust and sauce are dairy free so my kid who's allergic can eat it. No vegan cheese option though. We add our own.

Ordered a large thin crust pizza with: onion, black olives, pepperoni, mushrooms and 3 cheese topping AND brownies. Total over $40.There were BARELY any Pepperoni, some slices truly had none, onion was a tiny piece on some slices. 4 slices of black olives and maybe 2 slices of mushrooms. TOTALLY PATHETIC!!! WILL NOT REORDER

Unbelievable for giving us this awful food that nowhere comes close to the picture in the ad. This is complete false advertising and Papa John’s should quit selling these immediately! These are supposed to be a 10 piece Boneless wings. Toothpicks in my pictures to show actual size, and picture attached of what is shown on the website when you place an order of how they are supposed to look. Talked to the manager Heather which was seeming very offended that I would call about this complaint , and in my view just rude when I brought up this legitimate complaint and told me that the employees are told to mix the small pieces like this! Unacceptable! look at the pic of what they post as BBQ Boneless wings and what they served.

We called and ordered 2 pizzas for pickup on Halloween at 5:35pm. Was told it would be about 70 minutes. Ok I can wait that long. Got there an hour later and was told they only had one working oven and it would be another 30 minutes. So I sat and waited for another hour and finally they were done!
