Lovely dinner at this friendly neighbourhood spot. Super welcoming staff, light and crispy egg rolls, and the most delicious penang curry and stir fry dishes. We may have to return during this trip for the pad Thai which also looked delicious.
We tried the pad Thai, yellow curry, and orange chicken. We were hoping to have a new favorite spot in our neighborhood but this place just didn’t get it right. The yellow curry was delicious but there was very little chicken and the side of rice portion was tiny in comparison to the curry. The orange chicken was ok, mostly had the flavor of whatever cheap oil it was cooked in, again with the small portion of white rice. The pad Thai was pure oil, no flavor. Minimal chicken...
Amazing food but terrible service. Arrived 40 mins before closing but they hesitated to serve us, and gave us a table away from most of the restaurant. No-one checked on how the food was, no waiter walking near us to ask for anything except the check was just placed on our table when we were done. If the sign says you're open, should accept dine-in reasonably. The pumpkin curry and the masaman curry were both very good and would recommend carryout. Asked for prik nam pla...
