I am from the Midwest where there’s Gates BBQ and my mom’s as well. This food was cold, the brisket was tough and the baked beans were not good. The business and long lines definitely had us fooled. Will not eat here again.We had to smother the meat with their bbq sauce just to get a flavor. Luckily the sauce was good.Be sure to test the food before you purchase. Wish we would have taken them up on that one because they did offer. Never again!

Very good smoked meat. We had baby back ribs, sausage, and brisket. You can put their sauces on as you like it. We got a large potato salad and shared it. Great staff friendly, and very helpful. The facility was casual and clean.

Rudys is generally a really good BBQ place. They have a good sauce and good meats and sides. Every once in a while the moist brisket isn't quite as melt in your mouth as a moist brisket should be. Normally it's good but even so often they don't get it quite right which is why I only have 4 stars in the food. Besides the occasional brisket being a little off everything else has always been good. I also use their rub and BBQ sauce on a lot of my own cooks because they're really good. I do recommend rudys if you haven't had it before.

This is not a sit down restaurant so be forewarned. You have to stand in line and carry your food to the table and possibly share your table with others. Service was good. Everything is priced individually so you're not stuck paying for sides you don't want. The food was pretty good. The stew, jalapeno sausage and turkey were excellent. We also love that they don't slather everything with sauce, you add that yourself at the table. I would eat here again if I was feeling better and didn't mind standing in line. Not a fan of lines.
