On a normal hot Arizona day (Sept 5th), I stopped at the Starbucks on Pebble Creek Pkwy in Goodyear while making deliveries. I requested a simple cup of ice water to refill my own Starbucks-branded container—the very kind sold by the company itself. One barista was about to prepare it, but another employee (possibly a shift supervisor) stepped in and stopped her, refusing the request outright.
This is shocking and disappointing. Every other Starbucks location in the area has consistently provided water without hesitation, recognizing that in Arizona’s climate, hydration is a necessity, not a luxury. As a customer who has purchased drinks here and completed many deliveries originating from this store, I expected the same level of courtesy and consistency.
More importantly, this is not just about customer service. Arizona law requires businesses to provide free drinking water upon request. Denying water—especially when a customer brings in a Starbucks container specifically designed for refills—reflects poorly on this location’s management and raises serious concerns about training and judgment.
In a state where heat can quickly become a health hazard, refusing water is irresponsible. This store needs to revisit its policies and retrain staff to align with both company standards and public health expectations. I'll continue to do business with the other locations - not this one.

Starbucks is amazing the baristas. The coffee, the vibes. I love this place they make me feel good and important. I like to go 1 to 3 times a day been working on my coffee Intake. Overall my favorite place 💚🤍🖤🩶💚🤍🖤🩶
Came for a late night run at 9 months pregnant was really craving a sweet treat! Maddie did an amazing job even tho the store was out of strawberry purée she made sure we left happy with a raspberry puree instead! The store was going to close yet she still took the time to make ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS DRINKS! Thanks Maddie!

I had a badly made drink from Starbucks in Avondale. went through the drive-through to see if they could remake the brown shaken espresso. Richard and Claudia had no problem with remaking the drink with no charge and we’re super friendly. I really appreciate it and this always makes such a good experience

I don't know why the company hasn't improved the quality of its products and the wages of its workers for some time now. They have little desire to do things well, and I just feel like they force you to leave tips for poorly made drinks.

They allow the patrons to be boxed in by the delivery guy for over 20 minutes. The manager did nothing when approached and asked if there was anything they could help the guy to do his delivery faster,

Quick service even when they are busy
By far the worst experience in a Starbucks I’ve had. The customer service is appalling to say the least , the barista said “what do you want?” With a tone. I ordered a caramel crunch frappe with coconut milk and I got a plain frappe with caramel on top. You can’t even read the menu, I felt like I was taking a eye test lol. The tables where unclean and trash cans by where they make the drinks where full.
Savannah was a delight.
Fantastic staff. My son is disguising his turkey for school and chose a Starbucks drink. To stick to the theme, we just asked for a couple things for the look and they're more than helpful. Thank you so much!
