First of all, service is a bit slow today, but the Birria Ramen was well worth the wait. With a Carajillo drink in my hand, I was chowing down on this delicious soup like no other. The noodles are tender, the beef cooked to perfection, and soup base delicious and flavorful.

Hubby and I stopped by Tacos Barbon on a Sunday at 1pm. We had been once before but only had 1 taco. Today, we ordered the birria nachos, tacos platter, and the specialty taco platter.

The birria nachos were way too wet causing the nachos to be soggy with the combination of both birria broth and nacho cheese. This made the nachos mediocre at best and I would not order them again.

The only problem I have is that I can’t try everything on the menu when I go! Today I had the stuffed jalapeños because they are FANTASTIC and a few tacos. Birria and potato…SO GOOD. The Red tacos are AMAZING. My next test will be the Ramen.
The wait staff is awesome, the atmosphere is casually elegant and comfortable. The smell of wood smoke and meat when you walk in is a dead giveaway that you are in for a treat.
