the experience at tomo is ok , I likely wonāt return to this restaurant . I ordered 2 teriyaki bowls . They give very large portions of rice but not enough veggies. The steak tasted overly charred . It had a strong taste of something similar to lighter fluid.
The ramen bowl tasted good but the waitress forgot to serve us the side it came with so we reminded her when we were close to finished with our meal.
The bathrooms arenāt clean.
I feel like you could have a better experience at a different Japanese restaurant paying the same amount.

I ordered take out but the place had a calm atmosphere besides the employees movement. The food tasted delicious I began with the passion of fire roll and followed with the big island roll both with their unique tastes. I will definitely be back for more hopefully as a dine in.

Been coming to this location for over 10 years, however the last two visits have forced me to consider looking elsewhere. In speaking to one of the waitstaff, it appears theyāve changed owners again. Iām not sure if this is number three or number four we knew the first two at least and the place was always known for quality. On our most recent visit while the Sushi itself was fine. The rice was hard undercooked and warm. Rolls didnāt taste the same. The quality was off, drinking water tasted off, soda mix was off. Iām sure it could be easily corrected if someone was there who was actually in charge because that was another problem no one seemed to be. Owners in absentia seldom have successful restaurants. Boots on the ground may be in order.

Went for my grand daughter birthday she wanted sushi they sat us down at a booth that the seats were all torn up donāt know why I didnāt say anything the two girls ordered Shirley temples it came with no cherry š very bland and she never refreshed our drinks never asked once I ordered the bbq chicken it was so salty couldnāt eat the girl sushiās came with no sauces she asked for a fork and they gave her a plastic one everyone order came separately and my husband order took forever will not ever go back again terrible experience

Very good sushi. I did enjoyed it. Got the lunch special 3-6pm something about king sushi I forgot the name and they took the menu of special so I couldnāt took a picture. Less than $10 dls and alcohol drink $6.50 very affordable and delicious would come back definitely.

Sushi rolls was made very sloppy and the taste was very average. The sushi rice was way too sticky. Appetizer had too much sauce and the yakitori was overcooked.
Overall, donāt recommend. Better off buying from Safeway. NOMO TOMO
