My first experience Waffle House was in South Carolina and the food and experience was excellent. We wanted our son to have the same experience. The service was great at this location but we were let down by the waffle. It was slightly undercooked and fluffy, not like the crispier version we had in South Carolina. The eggs were fluffy and the bacon and sausage were good. The smothered and covered hash browns were just okay. Maybe it was an off day but the food wasn’t as good as it was in the south.

I ALWAYS have a great experience at this location however this time around was NOT the case.
I believe the servers name was Kimberly she was an African younger lady but she was AWFUL! I can’t state enough how bad her service was. She definitely can NOT have a professional/ customer service job. She is not the fit for this location. We always have phenomenal service until she came.
When taking our order she came up no manners at all asked if we wanted something to drink all the way from the register. We told her we were also ready to order and she still took about 10 mins before she came to our table to take our order. As she had nothing to do and just on her phone.
Brought our food out and gave us no silverware. As we tried getting her attention that we needed silverware she was just ignoring us and talking about her (boyfriend) of some sort I guess. She never checked back on us. I sat without water in my cup for a while and as soon as I tried to ask for water she acted like she didn’t see me when we locked eyes. As the other employees prompted her to me she still ignored us. The other employee told her 3x out loud and she got mad and responded (I have to take care of my other table first and walked away…..)
When her other table was barely sitting themselves. The other employee had to come and ask me if she could help me instead.
And yet she did not apologize or bothered to try and get us some water.
She is the WORST employee there and we’ve been going there for over 2+ years.
I honestly don’t wish her serving others it was a very unpleasant experience.

Over all food wasn't very good bacon was served with tons of grease on it that was served on a saucer that was greasy my son didn't like the eggs over cook and his waffle was not cook properly was doughy not a good breakfast experience

We were in town to film a project at the Goodyear Airport and needed a hearty meal before shooting at sunrise. We found the perfect restaurant. Great food, a good staff and fast service. Highly recommend.
This is my second time visiting a Waffle House. The first time was when I did a road trip to Norfolk, Virginia. Both instances I had excellent servers who were awesome and very welcoming. I wish there was a waffle house in Northern California.
