Spent $19 on a chefs special. It was so bad. The shrimp was so overcooked. It reminded me of French’s fried onions how cooked those things were. The oil tasted old. We got eggrolls and the oil made them taste disgusting. The steamed rice was leaking rice water everywhere. The best part about the plate was the broccoli. $19 and it wasn’t even a combo for THAT quality is insane. Maybe it was my bad for ordering the “chefs special”. No wonder we were the only ones there. I will NEVER be coming here ever again.

They give you too much rice and not enough of the entree. I will not be going back.

Yan’s Chinese Restaurant in Goodyear is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the western part of the valley (including Phoenix)—I have tried many.
There is no hidden fee; and the food is flavorful and delicious. And they give you a lot!
Also, if you ask them to steam (use water to cook) the food instead of using oil, they will do it for you. The food tastes even better when they steam them instead of stir-frying them, and it’s healthier for you too.
The lady at the front desk is very friendly and nice.
Food was decent But WARNING the merchant added a $10 tip on her behalf! My food was $24.55 and the lady give me a receipt for $24.55. Check my bank statement and found out I was charged $34.55 I left no tip because you order at the register and you don’t get served! It was my first time and last time there!
Been coming here for years. We love this place. The food is consistently good, the owners are sweet and her staff is always polite.

I placed an order of beef fried rice, house combo chow fun, and a beef and broccoli combo. This was around 8 pm. The food was average nothing too crazy. Later throughout the night my stomach was in tremendous pain and it was grumbling so bad. I decided to sleep it off. As I woke up at 6 am, I bolted to the toilet and everything just expelled out of my body... or so I thought. After finishing my business, I went to the sink to wash my hands thinking it was all over... no it came out from a different place and I was vomiting profusely for a good 6-7 minutes. I felt super light headed and just as I thought it was passing... no I kept bolting in and out of the toilet throughout the morning for increments of 10-15 minutes. Definitely got food poisoning and will never come back oh and still on the toilet while typing this review

We have been a couple times. Their service is great that I’m as far as fine. I would say the food I give it three some of the things taste different than what we’re used to. I thought the barbecue pork was very odd, but the rest was tasty.

I figured I’d give this place a try since Wok Wei is closed temporarily. Immediate turn off when I found out the orange chicken has more breading than actual chicken. Food is subpar.

Do NOT eat here. Came here because the GOOD Chinese place across the street is closed for a month. Walking in is awkward. Do I order at the counter? Do I take a seat at the table? Is there a server? No idea. We walked up to the counter, stood there for a whole before we finally just sat down. Guy working had no clue what to do. Anyway, we finally order. I got lemon chicken. Rice, soup, and noodles were fine. Chicken was hard and over cooked. Large portions, but I could only eat a few pieces. Wife ordered orange chicken. We noticed the spices on the chicken was moving. Nope, not spices.... It was bugs on her food. We didn't complain. We paid our bill, which was A LOT, and left. We left 90% of our food on the table.
Avoid this place at all costs. Wait til the end of the month until the place across the street reopens.

I ordered lo mein noodles with vegetables, and the only vegetable I got was shredded carrots. I'm not happy at all.

Honestly the food is somehow worse every time I eat here, and I only do that if im craving chinese food but wok wei is closed.
Right by the apartment.
Cashier is such a sweetie and nice. The food was good and Hot. Thank you I will be back.
Food was bland. Panda express is better.
ordered to go beef broccoli, chicken egg foo young, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and chicken egg roll. Even though the order had been QC'ed (Items checked off) The order was still wrong. The Chicken Egg foo young resembled or was substituted with something resembling lemon chicken. The beef broccoli was cold, slimy and very salty. The sweet and sour chicken was not at all crispy, but greasy and mushy. The egg rolls were hard and dry as if under a heat lamp too long and not at all fresh. The fried rice was flavorless and greasy. We took a couple bites of each then promptly disposed of the $60.67 waste of time and money! Worst food ever!
