Meal was served in 4 minutes before we even got water and ice tea. Had to request our drinks TWICE. Taco salad was bland, mostly lettuce, very little meat or beans or cheese. Guacamole was runny. Pico de gallo was nothing more than diced tomatoes and onions-no cilantro. No seasoning at all. Staff seemed more concerned with chatting with eachother. Waitress we DIDN'T HAVE was very good and friendly. Atmosphere seemed rushed. Chips were obviously store bought, salsa from a jar. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

We drove south from the Grand Canton to get some good Mexican food outside of the park. Plaza Bonita is just outside the south entrance, so we decided to go there. It was great. We both had burritos and both were great. We like to eat our big meals in the afternoon, so we ate there around 3pm. Well to our surprise there was a sign that said 2 for 1 margaritas from 2-5pm. Not only that, you could choose any of the margaritas on their menu. We both got 2 Patron margaritas for $6.50 each. Wow, try to get those for that price anywhere inside the park. They served us chips and salsa as soon as we sat down, and offered us more several times. I can't recommend Plaza Bonita enough. If your looking for Mexican food around the south entrance to the Grand Canyon, this is the place!

My chicken Fajita salad was the best I've ever had my Husband had the chili Relleno, taco & shredded beef taco combo, all excellent. Luis was very attentive and kind. Well definitely come back next year. Thank you! Jill Heers

The food was good and the service was quick, but my experience was ruined when I found a short hair in my mole enchiladas. I informed the server, and he immediately claimed it was my hair — even though I have long hair and the one in my food was clearly short. He even suggested that maybe I had cut my hair to make it look short. I was seated right in front of the camera, so obviously I wasn’t going to throw a hair on my own food — that accusation was both offensive and unnecessary. Once he noticed I was upset, he just said I could remove it and took the plate away, without offering a real apology or solution.
It’s unfortunate because this could’ve been handled with professionalism and basic courtesy.
