We Cook Pizza and Pasta

In a resort town with many international visitors, this small mom and pop pizza and wing place is a gem! The food is great and prices are reasonable. No, it’s not a New York style pizza but it is pretty good. The wings are good and they have a choice of sauces from bbq to Franks buffalo. The bbq was heavily sauced and they could have back off the sauce quite a bit but in the end, the wing itself was crispy and very tasty.
The staff was friendly and helpful. You need to know that you order at the cash register then sit down. They bring the food to you and pick up the tables when you leave. There is no table service and you get your own utensils, napkins, and drinks. I guess it keeps prices down and I am okay with that.
The restaurants in this town are pricey and fancy, so you can feed a large family a bit cheaper here and still be happy with your food.

I am very prone to judging a nom by its cover so when we drove by this place I automatically assumed the pizza probably sucks. I was dead wrong. This place is a sleeper and a half. The pizza(we got margarita added pepperoni) was genuinely delicious from the crust to the sliced tomatoes and everything in between, it was great! We also got the franks red hot buffalo wings and they were meaty, slightly crispy, and flavorful. 0 complaints! If this place was local to where I lived it would be my go to without a doubt. E we’re staying at Under Canvas and I’d consider the 20 or so minute drive completely worth it (or take it to go on your way out of the park! Fresh is best though of course!)

An easy walk from The Grand hotel where we were staying. Ate here every night for supper, trying pizza, pasta, and salads. All were good. The workers at the restaurant always seemed happy that we visited. Two or three times we saw some elk wandering down the street in the evening as we were leaving the restaurant. You bus your own table here which was easy and convenient, and probably helps keep prices down too.

We ordered vegetarian pizza and fettuccine Alfredo, enjoyed eating the hot pizza and FA. Nice and clean restroom, and a lot seating area. We had to clean our table because there wasn't anyone around I could call.

The pizza was in fact cooked. I didn't have the pasta but I trust them at this point

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I paid $22 for a salad, which was already ridiculously overpriced, and it was absolutely disgusting. The meat tasted awful and, after eating it, I became sick. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. Definitely not worth the money, and I won’t be coming back.

We stopped here on our last night at Tusayan and wished we would have come here sooner. There are not a lot of good food options in the town but we were pleasantly surprised here. We got three individual pizzas and our son was able to make his own which you cannot do at the Pizza Hut across the street. Our daughter who is also picky ate her spaghetti and meatballs. Wish we would have found this place earlier in our trip!

The pizza was amazing. The front counter staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Like a growing number of places, they are asking for tips when it is completely counter service. I only wish that these places would offer at least delivery of the food to the table and cleaning up the dishes after in order to justify leaving a tip. Otherwise, it is an amazing place.
