Had the most delicious meal. The mashed potatoes were SO good and homemade. Our group tried all the entrees. Everything was SO good ( we are city people from DC). Kitchen was immaculate. And the waitstaff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. It’s actually perplexing how the rating could be so low. Absolutely recommend this to everyone staying in GC Village.
Great food - very fresh, tasty, and clearly homemade. Staff in both the dining hall and Tavern incredibly friendly
New dinner menu is very good. I had naan with chickpea coconut curry. And I had pasta the other day. Both were good. 👍
Salad bar was probably the highlight and the only fresh food that was available. The veg options were not amazing and the food was pretty cold and bland. The bread with the coconut curry was basically still frozen. Would recommend going outside of the village for food if you have time as this was not that great nor was it cheap.
Staff is okay. But the self serve machine they make you use barely work.
The food is terrible. My elk meatloaf was the worst meanloaf that could’ve been made.
Avoid this place and get food at the tavern instead.
HORRIBLE experience.
It took them a whole HOUR to give us our food, not to mention that the pasta was undercooked and the meatballs were raw. With TWELVE people in the kitchen…???? Not sure why they keep on churning out burger patties for no reason.
I heard someone say in the back: “R u guys raising chickens or killing them? What’s taking so long?”
Don’t eat here. I know there aren’t that many options, but please know the value of your time and visit. Just go to the deli in the supermarket next door.
I think everyone is being a little harsh on this place. We walked in 15 minutes before closing (just missed the sign for the Tavern) which might have been better and I agree the ordering was confusing but we ordered soup, salad and fajitas….food wasn’t bad. I ate it all. It was overpriced but its hotel eating. You wouldn’t complain paying twice that for worse in Vegas 3 days earlier. Might try the tavern.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with these amazing folks. During our travels, we made it to the Grand Canyon for the holiday.
We were thrilled to learn about the feast they prepared. Everything was delicious and the staff was very caring and nice. We can’t tell you how much we appreciated your efforts and care.

Food was great. Staff was very friendly and inviting. No frills dining hall, didn't need to wait in line to make reservations. Vegetarian options were delicious with decent portions sizes.

This is like a cafeteria. The menu included many choices of protein, some sides, salad, a dessert and a drink. Portions were huge and overall very good. Great stop after a hike.
The food is pretty good. I was able to get a full stomach before staying overnight. I got the small portion for 23.99(25.65). I think the large portion was 32.99 and the kids portion is 16.99.

Food was like a bad school cafeteria. Price is reasonable considering it’s inside the national park. The wait line is reeeeaaaaly long. I found pizza in the super market nearby and that was a much better meal and also cheaper, not wait line. I wouldn’t come here again

This is an overpriced, high-volume cafeteria. It's built to process as many people as possible as fast as possible. The food we had was bland & cold. It was $35 for fajitas, a piece of fish and two drinks. I guess the one-star is for stopping the hunger. That's all this place was good for.
