About Yavapai Tavern
Yavapai Tavern Reviews
Great location, good food, but pretty pricey for some pretty basic options. Staff was good, you order at the bar and it's delivered, and staff was good about bussing/clearing. For some reason the bar only had 3 soft drink options, but the attached dining hall had numerous options in self-service machines. We were told to refill there.
Bartenders also work as food servers, food is pretty good, and came out quick, nice and friendly to
The pulled pork is really good!
Yavapai Tavern offers a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who assist with ordering at the bar and ensure prompt service. The menu features dishes like the elk burger and elk sandwich, which are praised for their flavor, though some items like the tacos and venison burger may not always provide great value for the price. The nachos remain a popular choice for sharing, and the chili is still appreciated for its thickness. Outdoor seating adds to the experience, especially with live music creating a lovely atmosphere. The drink options include a good selection of cocktails, local beers, and a full bar. While the overall food is generally good, some customers have found the menu limited and prices on the higher side, especially for items like the elk burger. The dining hall offers self-service drink machines, but the service at the bar can sometimes feel less friendly, with a bartender who might seem surly on certain days. Overall, Yavapai Tavern is a convenient spot near the Grand Canyon for a quick meal and drinks.
