Grill On the Green

Okay, one year ago I visited this restaurant twice in the same month and was very disappointed both in food, pricing and service. After the second visit, I contacted management and vowed not to return. Fast forward to this past week when a ladies group got together at the Grill for lunch. Something has changed and it’s for the better. Several of us had had bad experiences in the past, but it was unanimous at the table, this is a great place to eat. The food was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Our service staff was friendly and gave excellent service.
As a local resident, I’m so grateful for this as I don’t like traveling and I love good food right in my own backyard.

Upscale friendly atmosphere enhanced by a great outside view from almost all inside seating. Shaded patio seating is available weather permiting. The staff are friendly and professional while providing attentive service. The menu offers a reasonable selection of standard grill/pub fare.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking is a distance from the entrance but there is a drop off area close to the entrance. The entrance requires assistance to open. Once inside the restaurant is easy to navigate for wheelchairs and walkers.

The food was excellent, but I attempted to order four different drinks, and many ingredients were unavailable. The experience felt reminiscent of a cafeteria in Sun City. Would not go back again.

This has become our favotire place for dinner and we generally go once a week. Interesting menu, great food, and really frinedly service. And, affordable!

We met friends for dinner and to catch up. The server brought our drinks and gave us time to catch up a bit with our friends. After visiting a bit, we ordered. I must say that I was presently surprised, the food was tasty with just the right amount of flavor. Our server was excellent and played just the right amount of attention to our table. Highly recommend for a pleasant meal.

I witnessed multiple employees plating dishes without gloves! Touching patrons food with their bare hands seconds before being served.
One of the employees noticed I was looking as he touched my food and he haphazardly washed his hands afterwards in a poor attempt to undo what I saw.
The kitchen staff then congregated after they realized I was observing and put on gloves as though annoyed they had been caught.
Beyond this being an establishment in the heart of our older generation, it’s unacceptable for all of us.

Ate at this restaurant twice while staying a the Canoa Ranch Golf Resort. Had Juan as our server and he was incredible. He was very welcoming and kind, made us feel like family. Food was delicious as well! Highly recommend (P.S. Request Juan as your server….lol)

Being very short staffed we had to wait several minutes to be seen and seated. It was fairly busy and there was one waiter for the entire place. He informed us we needed to order our food and drinks together for he didn't have time to come to our table twice. Once the food was delivered our meal was almost finished when he remembered the ketchup for the fries. We waited along time for him to get back to us to get to us with a take out box. We felt we had to pay cash for he had no time to deal with us paying out. We just left cash on the table and left. The food was very good and the view was very scenic.

The food was good but ridiculously expensive. My wife had a $24 chicken pasta Alfredo. No salad, no bread, a $4 iced tea. My $17 hamburger at least came with a salad or fries.

The booth seats are worn out. Should have spent the money on seating instead of the barely used robot. Service was good and the food was above average. I was impressed that the waitress asked if we wanted a to go cup for our coffee. That was a first!

We had a group dinner in banquet area. Food was amazing. Staff was very nice and willing to go the extra mile.

Nice place to eat. Had the salmon. Was very good..flaky, not overcooked and not covered with a bunch of sauce ...just really good grilled salmon. .
