The staff was friendly. The place looked nice, except for some chips in the paint. I got the shredded beef chimichanga plate, my wife got the chicken chimichanga plate, and we split the chimichangas. They needed more seasoning, and I found a bone in the chicken.
This was our first time at Agaves on a whim. Happy that we found this place! Great variety, authentic, and delicious food. Margaritas are traditional and very tasty as well. Very reasonably priced and the a la carte menu was perfect for our kids. Desserts were excellent as well.

Food is nothing special, good but not great. Typical Mexican food restaurant trying to provide every dish under the "Mexican fate title" wife had the steak rancheros. Refried beans were probably outbof a can and the rice was plain and underwhelming. I had the grilled shrimp tacos, shrimp was a bit overdone, again decent but nothing special. Sat in the bar, and server brought out wrong dish for wife but corrected immediately
