We’ve been visiting Greer every summer for a decade and this was the first time trying the Rendezvous Diner. We stopped during the week for breakfast and were seated right away. The food looked great, but was kind of slow to come out, cold, and was just ok, overall. Service was friendly and the place had a fun look and feel - we especially liked the games at the table.
This is a great local favorite with patio dining, okay prices, great view of the meadow, and good menu. Just check the days and times before planning a day trip in town. Don't make assumptions that they will be open. And also go a little early for lunch to get a table in the busy summer.
This is our favorite place to stop when we are in Greer. Good food and great staff. We love to sit outside where they have numerous hummingbird feeders swarming with hummingbirds. Occasionally, you might even get to see some elk grazing by the river across the street!
