Vanes Cafe

The food was DELICIOUS. I came with 4 other people; we all ordered different things and we all loved our food and were talking about it the rest of the day. Only taking off one star for the sketchy location and the fact there were only two workers in the restaurant (there were no designated server(s) that will keep checking on you). That being said I’ll definitely be back for the food and quiet!

Wife and I were looking for a new different breakfast experience that wasn't so crowded near ahwatukee this morning and came across this place was in guadalupe.. a pleasant experience. No one in the place at 10 AM on the Saturday morning. Wasn't sure what we'd get, but huevos rancheros were some of the best I've had with terrific beans, important, and really, really fresh hash brown potatoes, Martha had the oatmeal raisins and cinnamon, which was very good too. There selection of music was old guy kool, not just what you'd expect from a mexican place..and cool art..will be back...

We had a breakfast burrito and chilaquiles. Food was really good. I had spicey salsa with the burrito that really added to it. They also had chocolate chip pancakes which our kid devoured. Overall really good, nice atmosphere and personal.

Didn't look safe so I just rolled through the limited parking lot - the place had bars on all the outside windows and several unsavory people standing around the entrance - I wasn't packing having just flown in from the Southeast.

Were visiting from NM and have been around these oast 8 days and we have to say this is absolutely 100% the Best food in town, a must try!!! The chicken and waffles are TO DIE FOR!! and the chicken fried steak is superb 👌 😋

Awesome breakfast!! We had avocado toast, chiliquiles and breakfast tacos, everything was perfect, portions were huge, great service...it is combined with San Diego seafood, Vanes sign is sorta subdued, just walk in!

$14 for a sandwich that looks like this is crazy! also Huevo ranchos we're so plane nothing special potatoes were the only good thing

I’ve lived a mile away from this place for years, and drove by hundreds of times, but just discovered it this week. Great food and service at reasonable prices. The bacon was cooked exactly the way I like (not too crisp or limp), but you can tell them if you like it crispier. There are no signs visible from the street. It’s inside the square. Plenty of parking on the north or south side, but I’ll be walking.
